Here is "Carrie" from Bern on April 12. This one was also tuned down to E-Flat, so I will assume that all Europe songs have been tuned down. Well, there goes our hope for the TFC Tour... I dont get it. Joey sounded SO good in standard E tuning on the other shows! He nailed all those songs every night. Only one "bad" night, as discussed before. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted, right...

Tears of joy are now tears of sadness at our fallen standard E tuning. That's quite the drama you got going on there, but I like it haha. Well said

Personally, I enjoy so much JTempest nowadays voice ... I know it's a kind of awesome " sports performance" when he sings very high. But I prefer more grave voices : that's more moving and virile, IMO.

"The Final Countdown" (downtuned) in Regensburg yesterday: Sounds like Joey's voice is straining a bit. That guitar solo...

The whole Frankfurt show (Joey's part), except for Ready or Not: You would think whoever is playing Norums solo for TFC would tune his f*****g guitar before even attempting it. I can't get over how bad it sounds and how poorly he tries to play it. Yes it is somewhat difficult but even I, a mere drummer can play it properly.

Complete video of "Ready or Not" in Ingolstadt yesterday. Special thanks to Michaela Italy! 1. They play the album version of the song with the drum intro. 2. The band and orchestra have tuned down a half step from E to E-Flat tuning. Stein you got it right! Yes they stepped down to E-Flat. Incredible for me how you can immediately perceive these changes...I am not able to catch them in such an evident way! And here I have the answer from Joey directly for you in the forum, because I have asked him about it. He confirmed that he sang half a tone higher on the first part of the Tour and that it was an Orchestra thing. I told him that everybody noticed he can still sing high and he said "yeah, I can, but..." But he preferred to have a heavier sound and that's why they tweaked it down in the second part of the Tour. So, I see this is not making everybody happy, but I can tell you one thing, from my direct impression. On the first nights, when TFC in particular, but also a couple of other songs started, I thought "oh, what's this??!!" The intro by the Orchestra sounded like being too light...sure, more of a pop song! I haven't had anymore the same impression in the second part of the Tour, even if I am with you in saying that when I hear Joey go high with his voice I go into a sort of ecstasy!!! And finally, I did it. Filming the whole Rock 'n Roll song at the end of the show! But what a sacrifice not to dance (well, not completely... ) and to move freely during that act!!! From Neu Ulm, you guys are ready for some more RRRRRRRockkkkkkk 'nnnnnnn RRRRRRRoooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllll....?!

Sooo cool you got to talk to him about him singing in the original tuning! I understand it is his song, he can sing it how he likes but I think that Eb sounds a lot duller than in standard E tuning. Darker...maybe if you squint your ears but personally, that song belongs in E. It is a pop rock song whether anyone likes it or not and I think it suits being back in standard E tuning but then I'm not making the rules so who cares what I say. Anyhow thanks for relaying your correspondence with Joey for us all
