I didn't think Joey could sing TFC in the original key of E anymore but he sounds amazing here! He still has it!

No videos of Ready or not yet? I'm very curious how they play that song. Europe plays it nowadays completely different compared to the original version.

For those talking about the key he is singing in. He's doing 6 songs compared to usual full show so as some have mentioned, I am sure he feels he can push it. He may also be trying to stretch his voice a bit knowing that they will do the TFC anniversary shows at the end of the year. Sometimes, songs don't sound as good musically when not in the same key, so maybe it's his hope to beef the vocals up even more than usual to pull of some of the tracks from TFC that they haven't played in 20+ years. Just a thought.

Carrie & Final Countdown from last night, 4th show. Joey seems to really get in to it. His vocals are even better than the previous shows...

No offence to the band, but it is great hearing these songs with proper backing vocals just like the original tracks! Joey is doing seriously well singing those songs in E, although he knows when not to pursue the high notes that would break his voice. The songs sound just like Joey Tempest, but not the old voice if that makes sense.... Like fine wine, his voice has matured nicely. I hope they do more of these shows in years to come as I would have made plans to go to travel to it from NZ if I had known it was going to be this cool! He looks like he is having loads of fun too...

Wow! This kind of singing on the next album will be more than welcome I would really love if they would try out some gospel backing vocals - just imagine it how it would sound live combined with Mic and Ian's backing vocals. Ear-blowing! :'D

Yes! What I can't avoid missing, still, is John Norum (the layers and feeling he brings to these songs...)
