Probably the stand out song for me has to be Carrie. It sounds just they way its supposed to be with epic backing vocals and lush strings. I love the live Europe version too but it does sound quite dry compared to this. Maybe Joey is having fun singing with some great backing vocalists, it really makes his vocals shine.
Still think TFC in E has such a special quality to it that you can't capture in Eb. So if anyone is talking to the band, tell them that!
For Joey to say he is very protective of his voice and vocal chords, he sure is giving it his all in these performances, trying to hit some of the high notes that were insane to try hit even back 30 years ago so massive kudos for him, just hope he doesn't blow his voice out completely.
Unless he does this Rock Meets Classic thing again, this may be one of the last times we hear these songs in E perhaps?

Err. Shame that things didn't go quite right for that performance. Trust Joey isn't screwing up his vocals already from singing high. Weird orchestra notes too someone hit. Not to mention the poor guitarist and his gear failure...can't always help that.

Well at least I hope not haha. I think he just has a bit of a soar throat, just like on some Europe shows every now and then. It happens. Maybe it's because he doesn't have a lot of time to rest his voice? I noticed they only had 1 day off during the first 7 shows... On the other hand, first out of 9 shows where TFC wasn't performed that well. I can live with that! By the way, I found some footage from Ready or Not including solo. It starts at 24:45 min:

Where is John Norum when you need him!

Complete video of "Ready or Not" in Ingolstadt yesterday. Special thanks to Michaela Italy! 1. They play the album version of the song with the drum intro. 2. The band and orchestra have tuned down a half step from E to E-Flat tuning.

2. The band and orchestra have tuned down a half step from E to E-Flat tuning. Did they tune down the whole show now?... (I mean the 6 Europe songs)

Here is "Carrie" from Bern on April 12.
This one was also tuned down to E-Flat, so I will assume that all Europe songs have been tuned down.
