Yes,the DVD is just amazing!I borrowed it from a good friend,so I only got to keep it for a couple of days and I watched it as many times as I could.I just couldn't stop. It's just a glimpse in the recording process but it's just fascinating! It's great to see how their talent and skills serve their music, how songs are born and shaped with real love, passion and dedication.I shouldn't forget to mention Dave Cobb and his contribution to the songs. There are moments he really becomes a member of the band -I think he gave this great album an "extra push". A documentary worth watching.

I just watched it this weekend. It was wonderful to see how things developed. That version of "Days of Rock N Roll" was quite interesting - it almost had a country feel. I would like to hear that version someday. I think Dave Cobb is a much better producer than Kevin Shirley, in the sense that he seems to have a lot more input and ideas for arrangements and songwriting. Overall, what impressed me most was the PASSION and POWER evident when Joey recorded his vocals. I just can't get over how good he sounds these days.

This box is really wonderful, ... I also want to highlight the dedication of the band to their fans, are very touching words that I liked a lot.
Friends!
In your hands you have our 10th album. Maybe you're a fan since a long time, maybe you're just now discovering Europe. In any case we are proud to have you with us ! and we get to go on this amazing journey together.
Our new CD War Of Kings is special, not only because it may be our most creative and moving album ever but also because we now have made five albums sincethe reunión, and of course live albums in our early carrer.
For you guys we have put together a very personal DVD we call "How We Did It". It's rare documentation of this period of the band. The recording of War of Kings was intense, creative, emotional and a lot fun as you will see a bit of in the film.
Our producer Dave Cobb became like a sixth band member during these two weekes at Pangaia studios in Stockholm. He elevated War Of Kings in so many ways. He is a true musician, a great writer and a fearless producer but above all a great "hang"!
As for the live of us in the band. We are truly blessed to have come such a long way together but the most magic and amazing thing of it all ... We still feet it ! We're still moved by it all!
And to you guys out there ! This Journey wouldn't mean a thing without you!
Eternal gratitude!
Joey, John, John, Mic, Ian
