We can indeed be very grateful and proud for the band being so active and relevant these days. So many bands capitalizing on past fame these days, whilst Europe is on top of their game, gaining fans and relevance each day. Could not have imagined nor dreamed Europe to play/headline mayor rock/metal festivals througout every year back in the 80s... Now to the song: what stuck me first is Joey's high pitched voice, great shape and somehow link back to the old days. Key intro definetely brings back hints of Words of wisdom. Nice! I must admit I agree to the remarks made on the 70s tempo. Yes it is heavy and groovy, yet it sometimes feels there is so little in a song. Cut off the intro/outtro, play it twice as fast and you end up with a 1 minute song ! We could do with a pinch more Scandinavian freshness and tempo in my humble opinion. But...still an nice and heavy melodic song, much in line with WoK. Like it and much looking forward to the album. Thank you guys for feeding us with great music and being the hard working professionals you are. Respect. \m/ Alex

I love it. Undeniably a strong Led zeppelin influence there but the typical Europe melodies and harmonies are unmistakable. Joey's voice sounds as strong and powerful as ever, the lyrics are good. Everything works for me

Again, to each of his own, but you guys sound hypocritical when calling out on not repeating the same pattern of songs, while agreeing on not being critical. Maybe it's me but I think nobody said so...

...I really think they have to be carefull not to repeat themselves too much and become predictable. In that way I still don't see it as a smart move to work with Dave Cobb again. ...I hope I'm wrong but judging by the first single I have a feeling that Walk the earth will be a War of kings part II in more than one way. I'll just leave this here...

I do find myself agreeing with Stein on the point about the quiet part before the chorus. Seems to me it might have been better to continue to build the song up at that point rather than taking it down. But really it's just one point of view. I think the lyrics are great and the way Joey delivers them is superb.

I'm not 100% sure but I think in the first verse I hear it as: 'We're all flowing along, changing with the tides'

Again I'm not sure at all, but in the first verse it sounds to me like it could be 'Sunshine in the metaphoric rye'

I'll just leave this here... So what's your point? Sorry but I think you don't get me.. Sorry, but you're way off track with every following statement. Let's enjoy the song and not bother other members on this discussion anymore.
