Just found out about this via Facebook. The title track for Walk the Earth is now available on Spotify! Does this mean it will be the first single? Special thanks to lottalove62 for the heads up! Since October 20 is still far away, I'm going to listen to the song now! EDIT: Just checked iTunes and the song is available for purchase! I just bought it!

EPIC song! The only thing I'm not too keen is the start of the chorus, when it gets really quiet. It kind of kills the momentum. They should have just kept powering through all the way. In my opinion it could have been better if they only used the quiet start for the last chorus. But now when they use it for every chorus, it gets a bit repetitive. But other than that, the song rocks!

My attempt on getting the lyrics down:
EDIT 1: ...changing with the times --> changing with the tides EDIT 2: Our conscience weights on all of our minds --> Our conscience weighs on all of our minds EDIT 3: Sunshine in a metaphoric rhyme --> Sunshine is a metaphoric ride EDIT 4: ...changing with the tides --> changing with the tide
Sunshine is a metaphoric ride Caught in the middle of a lightning strike We're all flowing along, changing with the tide On the frontline in the back of our minds With the battle song That will lead us on
And we walk the Earth With our heads held high For the life we want Yeah, we've got to fight
Yeah, we walk the Earth Like champions With heart and soul Like champions
Our conscience weighs on all of our minds So we lay our hearts right on the line We keep pushing on, holding steady and strong Knocking them down just to make our home Like a battle hymn, yeah That will lead us on
And we walk the Earth With our heads held high For the life we want Yeah, we've got to fight
Yeah, we walk the Earth Like champions With heart and soul Like champions
And we walk the Earth With our heads held high For the life we want Yeah, we've got to fight
Yeah, we walk the Earth Like champions With heart and soul Like champions
And we walk the Earth With our heads held high For the life we want Like champions

I love ! It seems to me a song with a lot of epic, beautiful, with a delicate chorus ... and those choirs !!! Who are they? Wonderful, It reminded me of the style "Prisoners in Paradise" ... I don't know, I guess it will have to go forward in my mind, but I think it's amazing ... and that NORUM solo !! Again INCREDIBLE ... super exciting .... Europe you've done it again ...

As is said about the presence of Hockey Night in Canada on TV in my country(CBC Television since 1952, more specifically), if reflected toward EUROPE's high-quality songwriting and performance, in terms of this song, The Tradition Continues!
But then, what could I expect from EUROPE, than nothing but sheer gold and AWESOME when it comes to creating beautiful sonic landscapes? Here, they've done it YET again!
My hats off to Joey, John N., John L., Mic, and Ian for this track. Can't wait to hear the rest of WTE when it drops on Oct. 20!

Don't know what to think to be honest. Listened to it a couple of times now but I am not sure yet. I really don't like the children choir at the end of the chorus shouting; like champions. I was more impressed when I heard the song War of kings for the first time a couple of years ago. That was really something I didn't expect style wise. Quite challenging, surprising and 'not Europe' in a way. Walk the earth is something I kind of expected. It doesn't surprise me or grab my attention. Don't know how to put it in words really. The production sounds a bit better than WoK so that's promising!

Not sure what is surprising those who aren't sure. This is pretty much Europe over the last couple albums. Same blueprint, different song. Looking forward to hearing the other tracks.
