Here's a better quality image of the cover:  Thanks to Stefania for posting it on the forum earlier!  My pleasure Stein !!!  Unlike some of you, I like the cover! Maybe because it's all so blue!!!  And well, anything could be easily better than the original cover of the album TFC, which the band itself dislikes!  The picture on the new cover was taken during the recent US tour with so many others! Some of them have already been used by the band on their posts on FB... so I think they're gonna use some more from that photo session! |

I have a problem  I think I wouldn't like any cover for new edition of THE FINAL COUNTDOWN, because I have a very special memory of the first cassette which I bought  and every time I see this picture generates in me a special feeling of an incredible and wonderful time lived  so difficult to find something better for this album in my case ... Stefania , the band really doesn't like the original cover?   I'm in love with it.  |

I think the band didn't mean the cover you posted Eva but the one that was used in most countries. The one with the photo's of the band members coming out of the earth. The one you posted was only used as the album cover in a few countries. It was mostly used as the cover for the Rock the night single. And I'm with you on the fact that it is one of the best pictures from that era!

Then in Spain the album was released with the photo of the band, which is my favorite.  The current cover doesn't convince me  , Joey doesn't need to do anything to get an incredible presence in a picture, that gesture ?  I don't like ... in my humble opinion. |

Apparently the single will be released as a 12 inch picture disc. Here is the tracklist: 1. The Final Countdown [Remixed] 2. War Of Kings [Live] 3. Days Of Rock ‘N Roll Info: recordstoreday.nl/europe-final-countdown-30th/Not a very exciting tracklist, to be honest. And what's the deal with the TFC version? The official press release stated that it would be a new 2016 recording, but the tracklist lists TFC as a remix... |

Well recordstore day is all about promotion and not to please the fans so it's a good choice. I'm also pleased to hear TFC is NOT rerecorded. i would love rerecorded versions of all songs except TFC.... You can't get anywhere near the origional version. As a mather of fact I'm not even pleased with a remix, why do damage to a perfect anthem for a little extra promotion!?

Anyone else plans to go buy the vinyl on Saturday 16 April? I want to do in Madrid, ... but here are 17 record stores associated with RECORD STORE DAY format ... this implies that they will go on sale that day and as I have been informed we can not book it before, and only sold a record per person.
I have sent emails to 17 stores to confirm whether they have received or are scheduled to have it, for now 4 of them have told me they do not have Let's see the rest ...
Anyone asked about it in their cities? Stein do you have any info about it ?
