So, it seems EUROPE is going to record their next album this autumn 2016.
Do you think they are already working on it ?
There's a long time without any show, from now until the summer festivals : will they use this time for writing songs ?

First speculation : didn't they say somewhere that they would like to work again with Dave Cobb ?

First speculation : didn't they say somewhere that they would like to work again with Dave Cobb ? Yes, in some recent interviews Joey and Ian have said that the plan is to work with Dave again on the next album. |

I'm fine with Dave Cobb again also, for sure. War of Kings sounds amazing and it's my favorite post-reunion album  Would be the first time right? Using the same producer on 2 albums in a row? I also wouldn't mind if they do it themselves again, like on Secret Society, which is my second favorite. I still think it's the best sounding Europe album... |

I agree with you on every point, Ernie Ball . But concerning the self production of their next album, I've read somewhere an interview of one band member (maybe Tempest) saying that it was extremely hard to do. So, don't sure at all that they are ready to try it again! |

Oh yes I believe it was hard to do guesswho?, but it sure paid off in the end! They proved they are very capable. Again, I think it's the best sounding (post-reunion) Europe album. Ah well, it's gonna be Dave and I am fine with that. He gave us fans an amazing album  |

It's almost sure that they will work with Dave again - of course only if he's available at the time. Regarding the sound of the next album Joey mentioned they will probably move towards blues/soul. It's a bit strange they return to blues stuff cause Joey again (before doing WoK) said that they didn't want to stay in those "blues waters" too much. But on the other hand, the soul segment is a warm welcome (maybe even adding a female choir in some of the songs). It would sound huge live!  |

Not ready for a new Europe album yet, still going the rounds with War Of Kings ya know?
When would it likely be released though? Surely not 2016?
