If I'm not mistaken, No Stone Unturned has moved into an 8 - 6 lead

Uff, running against the time First some words about this fantastic adventure, quoting an underground and almost unknown band from Liverpool You know.... I'll miss this. It's been funny and painfull but, about all, it has made me take a look an ear to the whole Europe's career from a different angle and some conclusions about my own perception of their music are amazing. Thanks to the evil mind ent. And now the plain thing, voting: I love both so I had to use something trivial to decide, for example the 30th Anniversary DVD:

Hello dear Aphasians ! The time to vote for this last match is expired. It’s time to celebrate the champion! No Stone Unturned Here’s the result of the final: No stone unturned – Seven doors hotel: 9 – 6 So No stone unturned is the ultimate champion of this competition ! It has almost been a triumphal march for this extraordinary song and the same goes for its opponent in this final, for long time very balanced: Seven doors hotel, defeated by only three votes . But in this game there could be only one winner, and the champion has been chosen. Here’s the final order of “our” best eight songs: 1. No Stone unturned 2. Seven doors hotel 3. Open your heart 4. Last look at Eden 5. Ready or not 5. Girl from Lebanon 5. Wake up call 5. Always the pretenders I don’t know if this order is the best possible or if there should have been other songs in this list. All I know is that, for me, this has been a wonderful travel across Europe music and history. As I must have already stated, it’s not the final destination, it’s the adventure to get there! I had many brilliant traveling companions, a bunch of devoted Europe fans but, most of all, a group of absolutely lovely people. Please excuse my ceremonialism but I must say that one last time: I really thank you all, boys and girls, for having been here posting your votes, comments, contribution and all the stuff that made this thread grow so big. As I post this message the thread counts 95 pages, 946 replies and 18,564 visits with a total of eighteen different users actively partecipating from four continents (South America, North America, Europe and Asia). Wow ! But besides the figures, I truly appreciated your kindness, creativity and spirit. I hope you guys had at least half the fun I had with this and hope to meet you all in the threads of this unique forum. My special thanks go to Stein for his hospitality and for having provided such a great place for us. Also special thanks to Eva Tomorrow for having taken, with great charm, my place when I could not be present. And finally, special thanks to @europe for their very special music past, present and future. They’re such a big part of me that I can always find a music tuned with my feeling and the words to express my thoughts. In this particular moment the right song would be this one: Thank you for coming along, bring it all home . One last thing: I owe an answer to vicky and all the others asking for a new game. Well, as Stein once said, soon after my very first post in this thread: “ Sure, why not? ” Let’s just wait some time, ok? Maybe next year…who knows. For now… Game over

Congrats to the winner! the game was fun, i especially enjoyed the random / semi-random groups. and that's why i'm also happy the game is over now. of course the result could look different with different groups or voters, but not every eventuality has to be discovered, and that's one of the best aspects of this game IMO... there's a perfect time to start something, but it's also important to finish something at the right time. and that time is now. see ya on the forum...
