A question from Dr. Strangelove: "How is it possible that THE FINAL countdown is taking place WITHOUT the final countdown? We want information!!! By the way, my favorite song is FAREWELL."

A question from Dr. Strangelove: "How is it possible that THE FINAL countdown is taking place WITHOUT the final countdown? We want information!!! By the way, my favorite song is FAREWELL." The fans have killed The Final Countdown. TFC is officially dead. Sort of. A timeless classic has been ruthlessly put to the sword. It was treachery with a smile on its face...

Welcome to the Crew ! Their opinion is also important to us, ... although I think we continue tied.

I haven't conquered the ability of multiple quotations yet, so I'll put all my answers and thougths together as follows... My final vote is for: NO STONE UNTURNED as I agree with guesswho?: " Because from my point of view, EUROPE is not a past band. It's a present band, very very creative (more than ever, I dare say...). However, this final has a sense for me : it means Europe songs were already good in the past, and they are still excellent. They can be proud of themselves, just like we, fans, are proud of them." Well said! Europe is alive and kicking: I wish to render them all honours voting for a nowadays song, a simbol of what they've become and reached through the years! Second place is anyway good for Seven Doors Hotel, and as Eva Tomorrow wonderfully explained " This song born of the talent of some friends who wanted to be musicians, still they didn't know their future, a long way ahead, success, the fall, the life in itself, but with a pure talent had nothing to prove, nothing to lose, they had the strength born of youth, when the head is full of dreams, from that talent we have a gem like this that gains in quality over time, it's timeless, and always that you listened to it make you feel different things." What could I add? It closes the circle! Mark-David: " The fans have killed The Final Countdown. TFC is officially dead. Sort of. A timeless classic has been ruthlessly put to the sword. It was treachery with a smile on its face..." Please, don't be so desperate and disilluded! I think that TFC simply stands out of every competition, it's in our cells, it's there steadily like the moon and the stars, an outsider... what could any competition mean to it? ent: I read some of us ( guesswho?, Eva Tomorrow, vonnyloveseurope...) talking about restarting this thread, maybe sorting again the groups, to see what happens... I don't think it's a crazy idea! I've become competition-addicted, by this time it's a compulsion to look at this thread too see what's going on, what pictures our friends are pulling out of their hats, what our heroes think about us fans...! What shall we all do without that? (pssst, ent, thanks for your Hugo quotation, I needed that kind of encouragement!)

Don't worry Vicky, my comment was only meant in a light-hearted way. Maybe it didn't come across quite how I meant it

Hi everyone ! I think every song is not the "past". Each song is alive. Like Joey sings, "Every time I see your face, I find my way"... Yes, every time I listen to their songs, I find and discover something new and I re-convince Europe is the best band in the world to me. I'm so proud of being their fan So my vote goes to SEVEN DOORS HOTEL...But I love No stone unturned too, you know, this battle is tough... but thanks to this thread, I found many songs are more wonderful than I've been thinking. Thanks everyone! I really enjoy reading your opinions

I think it's time to deliver my vote: It's not because it is a symbol of the "new" Europe. I love Seven doors hotel very much. I simply love No stone unturned more. With this vote NSU has one vote more than SDH. But there is still time to change the final result. Don't miss the chance.

Hau, It's the end soon! But what a battle!!! We are really addicted to this thread The giving up will be very hard. Like some medications, we will need to be weaned slowly. Have you an idea to phase out this state of addiction? Another game? No I don't think, this is impossible, we are too addict!!! We never get tired of listening to Europe. We love Europe's music...forever And for the final, my vote goes to... NO STONE UNTURNED
Anyway tough choice...
