The Battle of the Songs: Ready or not!

Hello dear forumers ! The time to vote the songs of the final for the 3rd place is now expired. As
guesswho? correctly “guessed” my all-italian love for soccer kinda inspired me the structure of the game, so it was natural for me thinking about a bronze final. And here’s how it ended:

Open your heart – Last look at Eden: 13 - 2

Without a doubt Open your heart conquers the third place in this Battle of the song 2013 ! The vast majority of the voters have crowned this superb ballad awarding the bronze medal to the more romantic soul of the band. As a reminder, the version here winning is the one taken from the Wings of tomorrow album.
Last look at Eden ends the game at the fourth place that is a fantastic result if we consider that it’s fourth in a so sparkling discography. The symphonic soul of the band is here well represented together with the great feeling for flying melodies that stick instantly in your head and never leave it.

But now it’s not time for jokes anymore.
Now the battle gets serious because we are bound to decide which song will finally (after more or less six months ) be crowned as the ultimate winner of the Battle of the songs! Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, fans and guests, stars and celebrities, aliens or superheroes, ready or not, it is time to vote for the Grand Final!
Two magnificent numbers face each other. On one side Seven doors hotel: the history, the legend, the starting of it all, a song that, after 30 years, is still fresh and dangerous like a poisoning black rose and terrific like Michelangelo’s Last judgment. On the other side No stone unturned: The amazing talent, the never ending wonder, the meaning of it all, hopeful and majestic like a purple orchid, the modernity with an ancient touch like Antonio Canova’s Psyche revived by Cupid’s kiss.
Here’s the choice. Here’s the ultimate decision:

My vote is for the magnificent "Seven Doors Hotel ", ...it has a very enigmatic dark side which takes greater prominence when one learns that Joey wrote it based on a scary movie. This song born of the talent of some friends who wanted to be musicians, still they didn't know their future, a long way ahead, success, the fall,the life in itself, but with a pure talent had nothing to prove, nothing to lose, they had the strength born of youth, when the head is full of dreams, from that talent we have a gem like this that gains in quality over time, it's timeless, and always that you listened to it make you feel different things. "Seven Doors Hotel" would be a perfect winner in our battle, close the circle, one song of the first album, the journey of this band that we're doing with them , and that is already part of our lives. Dear users while the world still obsessed with The Final Countdown we know that this band has wonderful secrets as "Seven Doors Hotel"





Ok  ,  these guys had a lot of talent... but hey, they too were young !!!

No Stone Unturned -- listening to the 30th Anniversary CD for the first time last night, the song gave me gooseflesh. Outstanding!      The song is so big/grand/larger-than-life.

A masterpiece, in my opinion.
