Sorry, I missed the previous group and about its results I miss Prisoners and Doghouse, the two most Beatles-like songs of Europe. Yes gemaim, I've often sung "Mother Mary comes to me, whisper words of wisdom, let it be" over Paradise, but then Paradise takes on from there and goes its own life. So much it recalls me of my roots because of Let It Be, but also now it means that silent rage of Joey in that period in interviews, his walking barefoot that has got a meaning to me (he is not Ian, walking barefoot almost always!), the way he felt, the way he expressed it...I live it through myself every time I see him at that time. Let's MOVE ON! Prelude + Last look at Eden: simply epic! one of my favorites from ALL Europe songs
Paradize Bay: kind of a similar energy of The Beast but from other times!
Girl from Lebanon: Had to be at random. It's impossible to pick one!

This is being a "trail of tears": Love is not the enemy is out, Aphasia is out and now my beloved prisioners are out but A mother son, a song that never meant too much for me, is in...and almost voted by everyone!!!. As we say in Spain, more or less: each one is son of his father and his mother, and we Europe's fans, don't make the difference Ok, let's go with G group. No problem to rule out Seven Sign and Sign Of The Times (I realize I don't love Europe's songs about "signs"  ) A little sorry about Wasted Time but it heals easy It's like the order fixed by Ent was mine, I'm pretty sure about the first three themes to save: Girl from Lebanon

Yesterday's newsBut the fourth one.. ¿Paradize Bay or Last Look At Eden? I love both and in Spain we also say "Big donkey, if he walks or if he doesn't", so the double pack Prelude+Last Look At Eden is a temptation.......buuuttt I couldn't assure, it feels like in this round the first album is being bad hurted, so I set my self as defender of the first album and my fourth choice is... Paradize Bay. |

Great group like everyone, every song has been part of my life, but my favorite is "Girl from Lebanon", still remember the wonderful John's solo in Madrid in June, thrilled me a lot.

My choice for Group G: Girl from Lebanon The beast - unprejudiced lyric and so much energy... wow! Sign of the times - I love the continuous shifting between the sweetness of the piano and the powerful of the rest; Prelude + Last look at Eden - epic, symphonic, matched with a classical intro.. these guys know music, what a song!  |
