Good night forumers . The time to vote for the songs of Group G is now expired. I hope you spent a beautiful and relaxing weekend. This time the fight has been less cruel, most of us agreed about the four song to be promoted to the next phase. Thanks a lot to everybody for making this game more exciting with your loyal participation . So, with Tone Irene’s vote included, here’s the result of Group G: Girl from Lebanon: 12 The beast: 11 Prelude + Last look at Eden: 9 Sign of the times: 8 Wasted time: 5 Yesterday’s news: 5 Paradize Bay: 4 Seventh sign: 2
The first four songs win the group with a large distance (four of us have voted this four tracks together ). I like very much the songs we’ve discarded too: they have personality and hook, but we’re selecting the top songs here and the cruel rule is that we can choose only four. The Victorian critic John Ruskin used to say: “when love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece”. I’d say that our first four songs have a lot of love and skill in them and for me they’re true masterpieces of rock . Ok, dear friends, here’s the last group of Phase III: Group H No stone unturned Firebox Forever travelling Got your mind in the gutter Talk to me I'll cry for you (acoustic) Scream of anger Human after allAgain, four songs pre reunion and four post. Who’s going to win? The classic hard rock track from WOT? The groovy songs from the Prisoners era? The melodic tunes from Secret society? Or the latest symphonic themes from LLAE and BOB? The answer depends on your votes. Don’t miss the chance! The rules: 1. It´s not important if you are a new forum member or an “old” one, it does not matter how many post you have previously posted, and we don´t care if you have never voted in the previous phases or if you intend to vote only once or twice. Each and every registered forum user is invited to cast his/her vote (if you are not registered you can do it now, it´s easy, free, and funny!). 2. Vote your FOUR favourite tracks among the songs listed in the Group H. The session will close next Wednesday September the 18th at 22.00. Anyway, if any of you will be offline and still wants to deliver his/her vote, I’m available to collect it via PM and I’ll provide to post it in due time. Remember that this game is mainly an opportunity to discuss about Europe music so feel free to post your comments. We only miss four songs to complete the list of our best 32 songs of Europe the band (...but also the continent, if you ask me). Cast your votes!

My father bought me a mandolin when I was 10, he sent me to music theory lessons at 12, and at 14 he bought me a saxophone (a beautiful yamaha) that I played for more than 10 years. He always accepted willingly that his daughter had in home load music of this band of "guys with long hair" because he always thought that music was a healthy fondness. To me the music is the main instrument to channel the feelings, and every song of this band are close to a key part of my life.
So, last group of this phase and we'll have 32 wonderful jewelry. Let's see, I'm eager to know what will be eg the last 10 songs or the last 5 songs ... Will they be more songs from the last stage? Will we ever ballad? More of a ballad? Very exciting.
No stone unturned Firebox I'll cry for you (acoustic) Scream of anger

Your dad rules! :clap:You know, mine had enough with all the "evil and damned noise that was not music of all those sloopy hairy bands" . Actually, now I'm up to learn to play guitar and the first thing he told me was that the guitar is never going to get in to his house. And now talking about criticall things, group H, let's make it quick and painless: No stone unturned Scream of anger Human after allAnd between the two Prisioners representatives, Got your mind in the gutter and Talk to me...ufff, it's a hard choice... but Got your mind in the gutter has that certain groovy taste, even there's a no-Europe writter but it's a really cool song... love it.
