Rock The Night (HD):
By the way, the little "Mediterranean Sundance" jam part in the beginning is absolutely awesome. Love it! (For those interested, here's the original, done by Al Di Meola, Paco de Lucia and John McLaughlin:

Joey answered also that he prefers the first version of Open your Heart, but as the guy asking the question stated he was in favour of the 2nd one, Joey raised a thumb up to him. Personally I like the 1st version the most, also because of the lines: "maybe the sun will continue to shine, maybe the rain will continue to fall, maybe you want to leave me behind, maybe you change and give me a call"

As promised you're the first ones I am writing to... I met an accident on the motorway on my way back, so I can write only now. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! I was sitting in the 5th row and they were 4-5 meters from me. Being the first time I see them in person I can tell you what I have thought: WOW, they are IMPRESSIVE and MAJESTIC! THESE GUYS COME FROM VENUS AND MARS! They are not like all the other (normal) people, me included of course, in the crowd! You can't say what it is, but it is so! Their presence is outstanding and well, at least for women, I think it's breath-taking also. The two of them together are incredible! And what hair they do have! Then, I - FINALLY - met Joey during the sign session... I had freezed myself not to be inappropriate . He asked me how to write "Michaela", if with the "h" or not, and I said "like Mic Michaeli" I shaked hands and - as every girl or lady before me - I kissed him twice on the cheeks (it's the italian way...), I said why do not dare to? So good I had freezed myself... Joey has been very polite, he passed my paper to John for his signature as well, John signed but he had many people in the queue already and I had to leave the stage...no chance to shake hands with him, but...next time! I have taken some vids and pictures, but I have to download them from my devices and I think that what's coming on the internet is for sure better. Anyway please give me some more time and I'll see if I have a few perspectives that others didn't take... I followed GuessWho's advice though...I didn't record everything, not to ruin the live experience. THESE GUYS ARE SOOOOOOOOO GREAT! Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Michaela ! in a way, it's just as if we were there, too... So, can you tell us what they played, apart from TFc and RTN ? What was the setlist? Did they play songs from BOB ?( And something else : just between us. You've kissed Joey Tempest : how does he smell ? Is he the veru perfumed kind, or very natural ?)

According a journalist, it seems the setlist was: NSTSTB RTN and TFC

So, can you tell us what they played, apart from TFc and RTN ? What was the setlist? Did they play songs from BOB ?They played also Not supposed to sing the blues, slightly different from the other acoustic version from the German promotion with Joey and John Leven. In fact I went out of tune (we were all singing along) because at some points I didn't expect the changes! Then there has been a wonderful episode: one of the girls from the first row, I think at the end of RTN, shouted very very loud "Joey ti amo!!!!". Which of course means "I love you". And it took him less than half a second and he answered "TI AMO....ti amo ti amo ...." then both he and John started playing some chords and in a short while they magically went into singing the song "Ti amo" an old (70's) success of an italian singer called Umberto Tozzi, very famous song in Italy! There's a bit already on youtube for this: Fantastic! ( And something else : just between us. You've kissed Joey Tempest : how does he smell ? Is he the veru perfumed kind, or very natural ?) Yeah, just between the two of us, as nobody else can hear us, right? I'd say very natural...but the amazing experience has been when our hair met... (I am quite hairy myself, like Joey in the 80's more or less...), ok... I think I really have to stop now!

It's something the majority of us will never do : first because it's not everyday that we can meet the band, and then, because it seems to me JTempest is not a very "kissy" person ! So, it's a rare experience that you have lived ! And I must add something else : it was quite thoughtful from him to take the time and ask how to write your name without mistake. I didn't think he was that kind... I imagined him more indifferent and selfish... (all right, I was wrong : I must apologize !) Concerning Norum, maybe it's not very good for his fingers to shake hands with hundred of people. As a virtuoso, he must take care of this part of his body I think.

It's something the majority of us will never do : first because it's not everyday that we can meet the band, and then, because it seems to me JTempest is not a very "kissy" person ! I didn't think he was that kind... I imagined him more indifferent and selfish... (all right, I was wrong : I must apologize !) Some italian fans are very well acquainted with them, so they started first with shaking hands and kissing two cheeks. Here in Italy it's very common to greet people like that, even if you barely know who they are...(well, it depends of course on the character, but anyway you just can't avoid sometimes). So after the first ones, all the other women before me did...what would you have done in my shoes??!!? I think Joey kind of surrended to this habit, at least while being in Italy, he might know different countries quite well by now! I was surprised either by him taking this initiative to write down the name. I told him I have been a frequent poster recently on both the blog and the forum and he was concentrated on what I was saying (loud music was in the background, btw, not easy to hear each other) and he commented with a facial expression like uuuhhmmmm, ok, go ahead... I think he was really interested yesterday in getting in contact with the fans! He did so with every person before me either! After I left the stage I couldn't observe more because the organizers didn't allow the people who had already got their signatures to stay there.
