Slightly shorter gig in this case, probably because they have 3 gigs in a row.
They didn't play:
No Stone Unturned
New Love in Town
Doghouse
Let The Good Time Rock.
My two daughters and I were central in the second row, unfortunately I had the tallest girl of the first row in front of me and I couldn't see Joey Tempest very well...
On top of this my second daughter was not well at all and the two of us had to leave our spot immediately after "Heart of Stone".
Here Joey sang the lines "Day after day, I pray that you stay" pointing at the audience...with a clear reference to the fact that he hopes this audience will continue to follow them... and I had to leave there with the "death in my heart" !!!
Oh well, sorry Joey, but sometimes we can't do what we want!!!
So glad to have heard "Heart of Stone" live!!!
The venue was small and in particular the stage was too small for them...they need more space to move and to make their show.
But anyhow, it is always such a wonderful thing to attend and be in such a powerful presence!
During Firebox the Italian Fan Club had distributed sort of "lighting sticks" of all the colors used in the Firebox video, for us to move these sticks all together.
Joey has greeted the "Emilia" in italian, which is our region here.
Lot of suspence while he introduced "Bag of Bones" a very intense moment, in my opinion.
John N. has sung again during the central acoustic session, another intense part of this gig.
I do have pictures from my daughter (the one who was not feeling sick) and I have some bits of videos from my new digital handycam...the other one was still an analogic one. Not completely satisfied by my new one, but probably I still have to learn how to use it. At least it's very small and it gets more unnoticed...
Well, I think that's all, heading to Padova now
Talk to you soon!
