Michaela and me, we've begun to talk on facebook around this photo : So, we were at the point where our opinions were divergeing concerning the explicit gestures... Personnaly, I think that too explicit behaviours make of Joey Tempest a more ordinary man. Because everybody is able to do explicit gestures. But it's not everybody who can be hot WITHOUT explicit gestures, just by being there on stage, and smiling... What is you opinion, girls ? (I'm not sure boys will be interested in this question, but feel free to give your point of view too, masculine fans...  ) |

Actually I don't disagree with you on explicit gestures, Guesswhoo. Joey has hooked me from the 80's videos with his smile and I disapproved his first attempts to go explicit, already since the ETB forum's threads... ...that's why I was shouting "Joey, STOP IT!" during the gig at Rock of Ages!...while my kids were turning at me with a big question mark on their faces!!! But then...he stays the sexiest man in the world even when he does so and he is so persuasive that I just can't delete those shots from my mind...so I think in the end I am pardoning him to behave like that!  |

I also have to tell you another funny story about this... I was at work a few weeks ago and I have been asked together with the 2 colleagues of mine - a man and a woman - to go in the warehouse to prepare some urgent shipments. That one is not our usual job, but given the fact there was nobody else to do it, we had to take care of our own shipments... They were a LOT that day, so we started joking among the 3 of us about making "packages". Which we discovered very soon to have the same double meaning in english than in italian - "package" or "unit" means actually that male part of the body... And without even thinking about it, it went that I saw the (male) colleague of mine with a package in his hands and I said "what a wonderful package you have!" and obviously everybody laughed even before I realized! My colleague went all red in the face and nobody could stop him from laughing! That day went through continuously speaking about packages, until I sent them by e-mail the perfect example of them!  Comment was:-" Gosh, the shot isn't even blurred!" and this one:  Comment from the female colleague:"WTF is he doing?, why he does that!" and she just swooned over there! She was a fan of Europe in the 80's with her school diary full with pictures of Joey... But I'd rather prefer this one, that it looks like just an involuntary one...  Joey, that was ENOUGH!!! But he insisted in Bucarest:  and again at Rock of Ages under the eyes of my kids...this one was taken by my daughter...ehmmm, can anyone suggest an explanation of it?  :  |

Now my attraction is not to Joey, but for me personally, Joey doesn't really need to do that at all, but it's part of the whole rockstar persona. I don't like the crotch grabbing; reminds me too much of a Michael Jackson move. As for the microphone and stand -- that's very much more rockstar. Look at Steven Tyler...goodness, Joey "strokes" his; with Tyler - well, let's say there's more pelvic action going on towards his stand. Maybe it's part of the whole rush of being onstage? All that energy needs to come out some how... But what I really think is: All Joey needs to do is flash that grin of his and the panties would fall... Joey does have a mischievious, sensuous grin -- I like that playful part of his personality. |

[/quote] Guesswhoo - I exercise GREAT restraint daily in our Mic group! <insert smiley with devil horns here> You have no idea! But it's all in good fun -- no disrespect to anyone. Great fodder for healthy fantasy dreams. And I'm sure Joey is well aware (and Mic too...hell, ALL of them) the effect he has on women. BTW, I thought I saw some slight pelvic gyrations behind the keyboards too, lately. I think in one of the Romanian videos (is that the show where Mic unveiled his sexy black shirt he is now sporting in the Firebox video?) -- I'll just have to FORCE myself to watch those again and maybe post it to the group (and here if you wish)...oh the trials and tribulations one must go through.... |

Girls! First of all there's just been a black out here...now I understand what it was! Too hot comments coming on the way?!! Guesswhoo knew very well she was launching a bombshell today! But now we can also understand the reason why of the "crotch grabbing", that is to teach us how to avoid the panties from falling, LOL! Girls, I am going to die from your comments!! I did not expect to be so dirty minds (logically in the case of Joey). He continues to be hot even in this age! More artiste uses these gestures in lives and maybe it's automatically moves!
