I don't think the characterization that those of us who would like to see a 30th Anniv. OOTW concert are dying to see Kee with the band is accurate at all. I personally don't care, and frankly if they wanted to do something with him, the 30th show at Sweden Rock would have been the time and it didn't happen. The reality is that their two biggest albums internationally were TFC and OOTW. I get that they would feel that WOT was important because it got them to the world stage, but I think they are doing a diservice to themselves and a big part of their fan base if they totally ignored OOTW. There was talk at the time of releasing the WOT show and that never happened. Probably because the masses were "meh" towards it. Unless they chose to do as a cheap download through their website or something for diehards. Nalen 2 does nothing for me. Since they played most of the hits at that show, would 2 be all current tracks or current and 2nd tier oldies they didn't do before? I like the orchestra idea, but I also think that so many have done that before that they'd come off like the 1000th band to do a show with an orchestra and throw it out on CD.

OOTW is such a strong album, some of Joey's best songwriting and vocal performances are on there, not to mention Kee's incredible solos which have had more of an impact on me musically that Norums. Kee's vibrato is truly 'out of this world' and so unique.
In my dream world, they would have Kee make a special appearance at some special shows doing the iconic numbers. OOTW wasn't as 'definitive' in a look for a stage set like TFC was with the Joey jacket etc, so doing something special for shows would be a struggle apart from a back drop like they did for the WOT tour but meh, Im neither here nor there. TFC 30th anniversary tour was my ultimate highlight that I couldn't have ever imagined they would have ever done.

Guys, I highly doubt Europe will EVER share the stage again with Kee... Let's be realistic here. It's not gonna happen. Ernie Ball, I agree. I think the chances of an OOTW 30th anniversary concert or tour, with or without Kee, are very slim. But we'll just have to wait and see. I think that out of all of what I read about EUROPE's 'Out Of This World' era on this site, I think that the one who was more responsible for what's happened with Kee since EUROPE went on their hiatus in 1992 was really the band's manager then, Thomas Erdtman. Erdtman made too many promises to Kee that he had no right to make, like having Kee assume John Norum's seniority in the group, and inflated Kee's ego. That's likely why Kee's behaviour has been the way it is since 1987, what with him hitting both kinds of bottles as much as he has in the last 31 years. I do feel a little bad for Kee in this whole mess...while he has done some things that haven't been right, I just think it was a product of what he was told initially. I hope that Kee can get things back together. And, to be truthful, there's times where, if I ever saw Erdtman, me and him would probably end up in a fistfight. And I know that's not right, but that's how I feel, because I don't really like seeing people who I think are really cool being led around the nose by morons like him. Maybe I'm just venting...I dunno. I just want all 7 individuals who've been part of EUROPE over the years to be happy. =P

I think to pretend that it's not OOTW 30th Anniversary would be a crime... it's part of the band's history... and what a great album it still is to me!!!!!
The problem is that any kind of celebration would possibly include Kee... and despite any kind of speculations from the fans, no one of us knows the real story... only the guys do! We just decide which side we are on!
Besides the fact that the band will be touring extensively for "Walk the Earth" I see a very little chance of a celebration tour but one or two concerts down the memory lane would play justice to an album that is still on top of EUROPE discography for a lot of people out there!
I remember joking with John Norum reminding him of this anniversary and he said he would have nothing against it if the band decided to do something about it... of course I cannot know if he was totally serious or if he simply said that because he knew it would never happen...

Wow 30 years!! I can easily remember the day the album came out. Me and some friends rushed on our bikes to the local recordstore to see if it was there. We didn't have enough money in those days to buy each his own record (we were 13) so we bought it together with the 3 or 4 of us. All our money thrown together on the counter and yes, it was enough to buy it! But wait a minute...how do you handle the situation of 1 record which has 3 or 4 owners?? Easy; you can have it at your home for one week and pass it on to the next. Ha, those were the days!!

If EUROPE decided to re-record OOTW with John Norum, as a live album no less, I would not mind at all. But the most we can hope for is 1 show or an honorary song from the album. I hope they decide to play Tomorrow live.

I even sent a tweet to their official Twitter account about whether they were going to do anything besides the mention for OOTW, and I haven't heard anything back.
