2018 marks the 30th Anniversary for OOTW. What, if anything, do you think or would want the band to do to celebrate this album. It sales wise is their 2nd best seller I believe, and during their 80's heyday. I would love to see a couple shows where they go back like WOT and TFC and do the whole album, however, I am conflicted as to whether they would even consider it since John Norum was not part of the band at that time. So far, all the albums they have celebrated in some way he's been apart of. As a result, I've wondered if they would handle anything related to OOTW and PIP differently, or if they will just pass on doing anything?

Let's hope they play some special shows. But I seriously doubt it!

Hejsan everyone ! don't kill me, if I admit OOTW and PIP are the albums I have never appreciated, and it was so right from the first listening. I still remember how I was disappointed when I first heard the intro of Superstitious. The fastforward button on my cassette player was my best friend in those old times I was in someway 'happy', when the band decided to take that long break. The only songs I like from those two albums are those which we can still listen to live nowadays. Anyway, I have reapproached those two album after a long time, and I'd love to listen to 'Lights and Shadows' and 'All or Nothing' live ... 'Ready or Not' and 'Girl from Lebanon' are still on the live setlist, thanks God I have controversial emotions towards Kee and what he does with his Europe experience. Once again, I consider him a real axe man, but it gets on my nerves when he first spits on the plate and then he runs the train of memory playing and proposing his versions ... I told him this a couple of years ago during his acoustic tour. He did not say anything, but hugged me.

On my way today to a place in Sweden were no one expects to find people with any kind of hope or a dream of a better future. The title track put me in a better mood and I felt a bittersweet feeling of melancholy looking back at what Sweden was and what it is today.
Times may have gone but there are still some hope left.
This album still reaches me after all these years.

Really ?? You're my hero cristina !!
Well, I love OUT OF THIS WORLD I didn't feel disappointed when I heard it, I never expected another bombing as The Final Countdown, ... it's true that these songs have been growing with the time and with perspective I see different things, but for the better. I mean, READY OR NOT at the time was not one of my favorites but that fucking song is like good wine improves over the years, now it seems essential for me.
And about Kee , ... uffffffffffffff ok how I say it.
I think the people who "ask" for concerts for the 30th anniversary of OOTW are because they want to see the band reunited with Kee, and I honestly believe that that will not happen, ... maybe it could have been something nice if during these years of the second stage Kee would not have released so much crap about the band. I also think that his attitude, taking up old songs, making versions, named his album EUROPE REDUX and things like that, have not been very wise decisions, (from my humble opinion) ... and well, I don't need to see Kee playing with EUROPE anymore.. Things are like that, and there are to accept them.
What yes! we need now! is NALEN 2, I think 10 years ago of the acoustic of the band ... that is, we are ready for a second acoustic. (Theme for another thread)

Would be nice another acoustic set but I think it's time for an orchestral live concert instead of another acoustic one. I agree with you 100% about kee, but even with all the crap that him has been talking over the years about the band I still want him playing in Europe again with John Norum of course, songs like ready or not, superstitious or Sign of the times are meant to be played the way they were on the album and John Norum being my favourite guitar player is not doing a good job on those songs(in the solos).

Guys, I highly doubt Europe will EVER share the stage again with Kee... Let's be realistic here. It's not gonna happen.
