Hello little Europe's monster! 
Some of you maybe remember how a few years ago in this forum we enjoyed several battles, (leaded by our dear friend ent ) where the songs of our beloved band EUROPE struggled to survive passing phases until we reach the end where only a single winner song. And Why this game? Well, in fact I guess is interesting to know what is the opinion on the favourite songs of the most loyal and passionate fans of this band that are the ones we meet here  . And the ultimate goal? Have fun, listen to Europe, and have some good times.
In 2018 we are going to start a third BATTLE   , its name:
The Battle Of The Europe's Songs: "Whenever You're Ready" 
If you haven't participated in the previous 2, it's perfect, never mind, if you have done it, it's also perfect, but the idea is to start something new, forget what we did in the past, time passes the band has made their last two albums with Dave Cobb, which are magical and somehow a new work always manages to move the foundations of the past, so those the results of the previous battles are no longer valid, we must review our preferences with the resources we have now and those resources are 11 wonderful studio albums.
Friends, the idea of the game is as follows: 
- You must vote 3 songs from each album, for them we will start by order of antiquity, each user will vote for 3 songs during the days in which the votes are opened. They should be your 3 favorite songs, or those that bring you better memories, or those that you like most in live, or that nobody ever chooses, are your songs.
-We will start with the "EUROPE" album, for a few days we will open the voting session and each user who wants to join us will put their 3 songs in the thread.
-Once the voting time is closed, the 2 most voted songs will go to what we have called the "TIE-BREAK"
- In the "TIE BREAK", each user will be able to vote again for JUST ONE of the 2 songs, only one song.
- The winner song will be the representative of that album in the final fight.
- In this way each album will have a single representative. So we will have 11 songs. (5 of the first stage of the band and 6 of the second)
- The next step will be to choose a single representative of each STAGE and we will do two rounds of voting, a killer rounds, choosing a song between the 5 of the first stage and another between the 6 of the second stage
- At that moment we will have our two finalists assuring us a representative for each stage of the band.
But just can win one !!!! 
I'll tell you more details in the next few days … 
Everyone who wants to participate is very welcome    , ... the thread can be fed with photos, emotions, sensations, videos, anecdotes of the band from the álbum in which we are voting... All this is about having fun and listening to Europe.

Hello friends,
more info about our "The Battle Of The Europe's Songs 2018: Whenever You're Ready"
It will begin next February 11th at 22:00 p.m.
An introductory thread will be hung and from there each user who wants to participate has to indicate 3 songs from the first album that will be EUROPE.
The voting time will end on Thursday, February 15 at 22.00 pm.
At that time we will review the 2 most voted songs and move on to the next step ... which we will talk about.
At the moment it would be a good idea to hear again that great jewel that is the album EUROPE ... (we can always find a good excuse to do it hehe) and go thinking of 3 of your favorites. Or maybe you also have very clear ! Who knows ??

VOTING SESSION: ALBUM “EUROPE” (1983)
March 14, 1983 the first album for the band EUROPE is released, 4 swedish guys from Stockholm (Upplands Vasby area). They share with the world a piece full of good music, it will be the beginning of a wonderful journey that is still going on. Joey Tempest – Lead and backing vocals, keyboards, acoustic guitars
John Norum – Guitars, backing vocals
John Levén – Bass
Tony Reno – Drums
The album has 9 songs, I have read in the press comments like this one that I think defines it very well: "... The metal here is pure: no frills, no excesses, just steamhammer rhythm and a howling lead singer. Throw in some ace John Norum guitar work and you have something to talk about. It's a very special album, maybe because it's the first one, maybe because it has a good quality for an almost inexperienced band, because it shows the talent musicians who still don't know what the future is going to bring them. They had a great dose of freedom that you can feel in each of these songs. Personally it has one of the songs that are probably among the 3 most important for me of this band, "Seven Doors Hotel" but there are other jewels worthy of being heard and praised. The idea is to feed this thread with your comments, songs, emotions, videos, photos, memories of when you bought this album, when you first discovered it ...  everything you want to share with us, besides your favourites 3 songs. I introduce a question for the users who participate in this thread: How many of you know the album "EUROPE" before "THE FINAL COUNTDOWN"? I don't, I have to admit that I discovered EUROPE and WINGS OF TOMORROW looking for information about the band that had fallen in love with their THE FINAL COUNTDOWN It's your turn friend. CHOOSE 3 SONGS OF THIS ALBUM, YOUR FAVORITES ...
