Another new song from the album WALK THE EARTH can be heard during this interview : sverigesradio.se/sida/avsnitt/957737?programid=3338(from 33:00...) The title is : PICTURES It's during a swedish interview of Joey Tempest IMO, that's a very powerful song. It sounds a bit like some Joey Tempest songs from his solo period, don't you think so ? |

Loved the way Europe have silently insinuated into our home on a lazy Saturday night, with no forehead announcement of that song. On tiptoe and in their distinguished humble way, to make the entire earth shake, for those who have the soul to listen. Pictures is a masterpiece that comes straight from an act of love. Maybe was born on that cold January 2016, has its roots in the infinite thankfulness of a lifetime spent for and within the Music as a sublime Art, and from there on it has taken shape along the way to reach us out, with delicacy and intense feeling. So I paint a picture watch the colors as they slowly dry escape into the light of the moon and the shooting stars to where you are.  And Music is an escape for all of us.  The haunting piano and the weeping guitar, Bowiesque vocals! I am in heaven!!! |

I'm gonna have some real struggle until release day, since I've decided not to listen any other song other than the first single (don't wanna spoil the whole album experience). But seeing how you guys respond to 'Pictures', I'm sure it's a hell of a track!  |

OMG! I'm in shock, I mean, is this Europe? I personally have been surprised again, I don't know how to name this song, it doesn't look like anything we have heard before the band talking about ballad, it seems a wonderful song, delicate, and a great presence of Mic, according to this review this may be some says things like: yesterdazenews.com/2017/10/05/album-review-walk-the-earth-europe/" I believe this album is the Mic Michaeli album! The keyboards are so intertwined and heavy in an organ styling throughout every song that the album truly showcases his extraordinary musical abilities. His keyboard sound has always been a part of the albums but aside from a few songs here and there, he’s never completely stood out this much, expect with of course… “The Final Countdown”, who doesn’t instantly recognize the keyboards leading into that song? " That part of the piano is absolutely magic, ... come on Europe! they have driven us crazy. And yes, I totally agree, Bowie's influence is very clear, ... I think David's death must have had a major draw on Joey, and he has had to translate it into his music, resulting in PICTURES, welcome this influence. |
