We have just finished the recording for our new album at the legendary Abbey Road Studios! It turned out so much more exciting than we expected! The vibe in this studio is great! The staff and facilities are out of this world. Of course we couldn’t resist having some fun with vintage equipment and amazing recording techniques. Our producer Dave Cobb really made the songs fly, beautifully engineered by Eddie Spear. The album is due out in October with one or two tracks coming your way ahead of release. Prior to the release we will also post clips/pics from the recording session here on our Facebook page. Meanwhile we're getting ready to hit the road again for our "Electric Summer tour 2017". Looking forward to seeing you all out there! // Europe PHOTO: PATRIC ULLAEUS

It's been like this since the reunion, but still....I keep being amazed by how fast they release new albums. I mean, War of Kings still feels so fresh and and kinda "new"! Right? At least for me it does. I like how they are so serious about their job. No fooling around. No wasting time. Also makes me feel kinda proud Our favorite band, every 3 years, BOOM, a new album + tour! It's so much different with some other bands that I like. Metallica took 8 years to put out a new album. AC/CD 6 years, Van Halen 14 years! And I like how they plan stuff: album is released - a year later while touring they tell us they're working on new song ideas - shortly after the touring ends they hit the studio - and all of u sudden they tell us it's done and when it will come out. In the meantime usually a DVD is released. Well, for the fans...this flow is just perfect. I like it

I suppose nobody has heard any leaks/rumours/information about the style of the new material? Just impatient for DETAILS!!! Just have to be patient I guess. It had better be melodic or there'll be hell to pay lol

I have to admit that on this album I am very lost, the producer is again David Cobb, so I think it is possible that it is a continuation of WAR OF KINGS but on the other hand this is EUROPE and they never repeat, they usually give turns to their music in each album. And the photo of the band in black&white is absolutely wonderful ... love it. How important is that this band still be here giving us more amazing music. ricardo , he said "melodic" ?? Something good, right?
