I can't resist to start right now a special thread about this TFC anniversary show in France.
Already an important point : the venue "l'Olympia", is probably the most famous and emblematic concert place in the whole France. Everybody knows it, althought that's not a very big place. And only the greatest artists are supposed to play there...

L'Olympia can receive almost 2000 persons. Bigger than the Bataclan or La Cigale, where Europe played formerly.

What is said about EUROPE on L'Olympia website :
Europe is one of the living legends of hard rock. The band formed in Stockholm 1979. Initially composed of Joey Tempest (vocals), John Norum (guitar), John Levén (bass), and Tony Reno (drums), the group then called force. Their first two albums Europe (1983) and Wing Of Tomorrow (1984) find success. Current 1985 their drummer left the group and the band welcomes keyboardist Mic Michaeli. The album The Final Countdown brings them consecration in 1986 and a worldwide reputation. The single of the same name is at the top of the charts in over 25 countries and sold 8 million copies that year.
The band made a long break in late 1992 but was officially reformed in late 2003 with Joey Tempest, John Norum, Mic Michaeli, John Levén and Ian Haugland - what some call the "classical line-up." Europe then returns with several albums including Bag of Bones, released in 2012, which led to a world tour. The tenth album, War of Kings, was released in 2015 and met a major success. The year 2015 ended in style with a tour in France with the legendary group Scorpions.
[Allright, maybe they did'nt understand exactly everything there concerning Ian Haugland : he didin't leave the band in 1985 ... !

Yesterday, a friend called me and said she had just heard EUROPE on a radio. They talked about the very special event of november 15th : their anniversary show. It's a very popular radio, so that's a good thing. I suppose other medias are also talking about this. Suddenly, it made me realize I didn't get my tickets yet !!! Gosh, hotel bedroom already booked, but I nearly forgot the main thing : The TICKETS ! So now, it's done : I've bought 2 tickets for my friend and me. It'll be a gift for her birthday. She's a Europe fan just like me. We'll be downstairs, at the stage level. Hope not too far from the band !! Bought tickets up on the mezzanine after a little bit mucking around with the site. This is going to be awesome. A dream come true. Looks like a very cool venue So great that you come from NEW ZEALAND especially for this show.

In Paris venue, l'Olympia, some areas are already sold-out, like the main balcony. There's still some places at the very top gallery and at the stalls.
