Oh God, just bought my ticket to see my second Europe concert!
On 23/09/2012, I'll be at "A Seringueira" club!!!!
I'm a bit disappointed with the rumours about what new songs will be on the set, because I was expecting them to play the title track, one of my favorites.
But well, I'm happy I'll be there!

At Buenos Aires, it seems Europe played the song Bag of Bones. We'll see tomorrow if there'll be changes for the concert in Brazil-zil-zil !

Hey Stein, looks like you already put my setlist here hehehe. I posted it on setlist.fm, but looks like I lost something while remembering the right order of the songs. But the songs are all there.
Right now I'm taking my plane back home. I'll write something about the concert after I get home!

According to this review (which includes pictures): www.territoriodamusica.com/rockonline/shows/?c=1227 it was the same order as in Buenos Aires, except "Seventh Sign", which was not played in São Paulo. So this is the correct order: Setlist: 1. Riches to Rags 2. Not Supposed to Sing the Blues 3. Firebox 4. Superstitious 5. Scream of Anger 6. No Stone Unturned 7. Demon Head 8. New Love in Town 9. São Paulo Blues (Blues improvisation with Joey, Mic and John Levén) 10. Bag of Bones 11. Girl From Lebanon 12. Carrie 13. Love is Not the Enemy 14. Let the Good Times Rock 15. The Beast 16. Doghouse 17. Rock the Night (with snippet of "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen) ---------------------------------------------- 18. Last Look at Eden 19. The Final Countdown

Now that I got some rest, let's talk about the concert...
Well, comparing to the first time they came to my country, on the last tour in 2010, I think they guys looked happier this time on stage hehehe. The house was full (but it took a while, they started playing 50 min later). In terms of new songs, my expectations were fulfilled, they played 6 new songs (including the title song Bag of Bones, that I was dying to hear), some classics from The Last Look at Eden... but as for the old songs, they dissapointed a little. They repeated the usual songs... they were sounding very good, the sound was good (a little bit loud, but that's what rock'n'roll should be, right?).
On last tour, they surprised us playing Wings of Tomorrow, More than Meets the Eye and Ready or Not... on this one, nothing different. They could have tried Heart of Stone or Open Your Heart or Dreamer, but I guess there are some songs they can't let out of the set (at least that's what they think).
As for the crowd, while everybody was happy, most of them didn't know the new songs... they were shouting CHEROKEE the entire concert! (bitches!). Cherokee was on the 2010 set.
Oh, I forgot... I was about 5 meters from the stage (2 from the first row), right in front of Mr. John Norum! Unfortunately, I didn't get any guitar picks (I never do)... at the end of the show, a girl at my left was lucky enough to take on of Ian's sticks.
And that was it, folks. Let's wait for the next tour!

Just a note: here in Brazil, Jonh Norum didn't wear our soccer team t-shirt, only Mic did. Joey weared our flag... shame on you, Norum! hehehe.
