Now that I got some rest, let's talk about the concert... Well, comparing to the first time they came to my country, on the last tour in 2010, I think they guys looked happier this time on stage hehehe. The house was full (but it took a while, they started playing 50 min later). In terms of new songs, my expectations were fulfilled, they played 6 new songs (including the title song Bag of Bones, that I was dying to hear), some classics from The Last Look at Eden... but as for the old songs, they dissapointed a little. They repeated the usual songs... they were sounding very good, the sound was good (a little bit loud, but that's what rock'n'roll should be, right?). On last tour, they surprised us playing Wings of Tomorrow, More than Meets the Eye and Ready or Not... on this one, nothing different. They could have tried Heart of Stone or Open Your Heart or Dreamer, but I guess there are some songs they can't let out of the set (at least that's what they think). As for the crowd, while everybody was happy, most of them didn't know the new songs... they were shouting CHEROKEE the entire concert! (bitches!). Cherokee was on the 2010 set. Oh, I forgot... I was about 5 meters from the stage (2 from the first row), right in front of Mr. John Norum! Unfortunately, I didn't get any guitar picks (I never do)... at the end of the show, a girl at my left was lucky enough to take on of Ian's sticks. And that was it, folks. Let's wait for the next tour! Thanks for the report "badbadblood" is great ... I've seen some videos of the concert and the audience and the band were fantastic. It makes me sorry that they have removed from the setlist "Cherokee" and especially "Start from the Dark" (which is one of my favorite songs) ... but otherwise it's great to hear live songs like "Bag of Bones" ... difficult choice for them.
