I doubt it will happen since there seems to be some strain with the relationship between Joey and Kee, but it would be cool if they had Kee come out for a song or two like PIP and Superstitious, since they are celebrating 40 years...and Kee is part of the history and was interviewed for the documentary. That's what I'm hoping for too. Or maybe Tony Reno. Just before the 30th anniversary show at Sweden Rock in 2013, John Norum said in an interview that they were planning to do a couple of songs with Tony, but in the end it didn't happen. Maybe this time? From what I can tell, there weren't any "special guests/past members" at either of the Stockholm shows. With everyone still alive, I feel like it's a lost opportunity when they can't make something happen during one of these "big" anniversaries. I can't imagine the animosity between Kee and Joey is so bad that they couldn't suck it up and play a couple songs, not to mention he did contribute to one of the bands most successful albums. Would have been nice to see Tony Reno too. Who knows the logistics and inner-band politics, but again, everyone can fake it for a song or two, or at least introduce/acknowledge them in some way.

The song is definitely a grower, and I actually like the break. Comes off much better live to my ears than the recording does. Sort of the same way I feel about Ready or Not. It's an okay song on the album, but much better live.

Hold Your Head Up This user is sharing some videos of today's concert in Swizerland. Sounds better live verses the actual recording.

After a number of times playing it, a few thoughts. I think the song is a grower and gets better the more you hear it. I know it's a tribute to Joey's father, but the break where he sings.."I still remember the day My father said" really kills the momentum of the song and would probably have been better edited out and is really my only complaint with the song. The groove sounds a lot like parts of the unreleased track "Beautiful Disaster." It's a good song but like others have said...it's not mind blowing or going to dethrone any of their top tier tracks. I doubt it would be anything more than an album track if it were on a full length release.

Here's the Youtube link for anyone who hasn't already searched for it.
It's a good song, nothing earth shattering, at least to my ears, but a good song, and the chorus is catchy and kind of sticks with you. Has the guitar tone that's a bit reminiscent to songs like Stormwind.

I didn't notice that he's strained, could be the key they are trying to play some songs in, or could have been fighting allergies or something, you never know. First show, I'm sure he and the band will be warmed up and grooving quickly. I hope so. It's not that Joey couldn't sing at all, it's just that I'm worried that something could happen later in this tour. You're right. I hadn't seen the Dreamer YT video when I replied. He did sound a bit strained, but good on other songs. Maybe he was over-singing a little bit, or since it was just him and Mic, they may not have dropped the key.

I've seen some other videos, such as Dreamer, and Joey's voice sounds strained. And it's just the first show. I know time passes, but I hope this tour goes smoothly. Maybe he could have a vocal coach to keep him in the best shape as possible. Is this the first time Norum played On Broken Wings live? I don't think it was in the setlist during TFC tour until Kee was in the band, or is my memory failing me?
