Hello everyone! I hope I’m not bothering anyone if I’m adding some personal insights to the list! This is my choice from Group C (in the order provided by the contest): Scream of Anger: this song means so much to me and the guys playing it in every show means not only that they acknowledge its big impact on the audience but they're kinda paying a tribute to Marcel Jacob… Obscure lyrics and a dogged rhythm that just leaves you breathless, exactly like the condemned man waiting “for the hangman to appear”… just a sweet anecdote: I went with Marcel to see a EUROPE concert in Stockholm and when the band played the song he started mocking them mimicking the drums and saying that they were playing it slower than they were supposed to play it! I will never forget… On the loose: I just love the guitar riff and one of my fav from the TFC album! Just the beginning: shall we talk about Kee’s guitar solo? Simply AMAZING: heart and technique perfectly balanced, and supported by enchanting keyboards! Love it! Tomorrow: one of the nicest ballads of the band in my opinion… moving and heart wrenching, with a superb Joey on the grand piano and vocals… Girl from Lebanon: beautiful guitar intro… when played live, it fits the end of any John Norum’s solos, creating an evocative continuum… the lyrics sound like a “wake up call” still connectable to a lot of present events… Flames: everyone remembers the hot flames coming up on stage, right? Self-destruction or desire of personal revenge? Riches to rags: it instills immediately an adrenalin rush! The perfect opener on the previous tour! Children of the mind: the interpretation of the lyrics is not so easy… I think it would sound great live and actually it could be one of the candidates to be included in the future tracklist…

See EUROPE in Stockholm is an absolute pleasure for a EUROPE fan, wonderful city, lovely people and being in the city when Europe born, their hometown, really special. But see EUROPE in Stockholm with Marcel and listen SCREAM OF ANGER sounds like a perfect plan ! Thanks for share it dear ... Sadly that some people leave us too soon.

Here are my selections for Group C: Scream of Anger – I remember the reaction it got in Niagara Falls and I was really happy to see some break out their Air Guitars. The smiles on their faces as they played along – priceless! Just The Beginning – I love singing along with this song…its positive ‘you’re not going to break me down’ message and the chorus just lifts you up. All Or Nothing - Joey's little Plant-like phrasing in spots. Kee's slinky guitar...and a great chorus, too. Girl From Lebanon - PIP is a tricky album for me, but I never doubted how big (monumental size-wise) this song was and still is. I think it's their best song on that album, and not to take away from Kee's approach, I love that Norum has made it his own. He's injected more soul, empathy and weightiness on top of the hope Mic's bring with his atmospheric keyboards during the intro. Who doesn't get goosebumps when you hear this song? Flames - one of my favourites off "SFTD" -- it really grabs your attention with its use of volume. Secret Society - What a way to start the album! It's loud; has a great, fast pace. Both Norum and Mic get to showcase themselves in their respective solos. Riches to Rags - Ian's drumming is what grabs my attention in this song - especially in the verses. Children Of The Mind - I don't know where to start with this song -- Joey's vocals? Certainly not for the fainthearted to try! Norum starts the solo and Mic finishes it with a very trippy section. If I had a favourite out of my Group C selections - this is the one.
