Concert in Nitrianske Rudno was my first this year, so I was full of anticipation. I arrived at the spot later than I had planned because we had some car trouble on the way, but everything has been solved and we have reached the goal about 5.30 pm. I missed one show that I also wanted to see - a popular Slovak singer Peter Cmorik
never mind.
The concert took place in the local auto-camping, quite a spacious place with cabins for accommodation, directly next to the water reservoir Nitrianske Rudno. Really beautiful surroundings with views of the nearby mountains – Strážovské Hills. Weather forecast that day was not ideal for the start of summer, they said showers, thunderstorms and cold. In real there was some rain afternoon, later, during the last 3 shows there was no water…great.
So after meeting and greeting with several Czech and Slovak fans, I moved to my favourite position in front of the stage. There I met a big fan and supporter of the band from Taiwan, I think some of you know Mei. I was very pleased to meet her again and spend the concert in first row with her, admirable loyal girl.
The concert itself: Setlist was the same as last week in Hungary. I added it on the website setlist.fm. I was happy with all the new songs sound really good live
Praise You and The Second Day are my very favorite. Just these two songs I tried to record with my small camera, but unfortunately the sound is terrible

Special moments: During the RTN Joey went down to the barricades greet with fans, then also walked the aisle dividing the crowd, it took a few minutes, while the rest of the band kept the beat...
As with every show Joey was trying to say a few words in the local language. Also this time he did, very nice… rewarded by applause.
I do not know how in other concerts at WOK tour, but from what I've seen in the past they did the introductions of each member of the band only exceptionally … so today Joey included that, and it was so special, everyone got their little bit of space and applause
I loved this very much.
About boys: Mic changed his look very much since last year when I last saw him. Today a cowboy style, interesting. Ian was submerged behind his instrument, I have not seen too much on him, but that he was present there is no doubt.
John Leven again very elegant, quiet. I love the seriousness in his face. A long time ago I read a comment where someone said he looks bored on stage. Totally disagree! For me the most interesting object in the Space. John Norum as we know him – fully focused on his guitar. I watched him attentively every solo, this guy really plays with every bit of his body, or soul, a real experience to watch him. Maybe I should change my place for the next concerts
we'll see.
Joey – he is truly a personified tempest in the best sense what you can imagine. After show a Slovak girl asked me how old he is. I told her and she exclaimed in amazement: God, this guy must have a deal with the Devil!
Europe made really great show in Slovakia. Many young people who came for the Slovak bands and stayed also for Europe saw them for the first time and were excited. I'm glad I was part of it. Today I can't wait the next concert, this time in Sweden, soon
