Great show as always. Did Black Star Riders blow Europe off the stage? Well in sheer volume terms, yes they did- I was half deaf by the time Europe came on. In any other sense, no they did not, but credit where it is due, they were darn good
Reminder to self: To preserve hearing, stand further away from the stage during Black Star Riders set.

In any other sense, no they did not, but credit where it is due, they were darn good. You're referring to all those nasty comments on the Black Star Rider FB page, right? I read those too. You know, this actually kind of surprises me....  A lot of BSR fans really seem to hate Europe and talk sh*t about them. A lot of really negative comments. I didn't expect that. I imagined this tour would attract a crowd that likes both bands. Just a good old hardrock lovin' crowd that enjoys both bands. You know, BSR/Lizzy...Europe, I like them both and I know a lot of people do. So personally...I don't understand all the negativity from those fans. Yeah they did do a little bit of Pink Floyd, it was mainly just Joey doing a few of the vocals, there wasn't much from the rest of the band
