It's been almost two months since I've heard the album enough to know every song, every guitar solo, now it is when I enjoy it better and why I think I can say that to me it's the best álbum of EUROPE, and I say convinced, I think a masterpiece. I have marveled PRAISE YOU, ... when the band was going to release this tenth album and after 9 filled with songs that are imperative for me thought if could really excited again with a song as it does "In my time", or "Hero", seemed like something impossible, but not, this song is a jewel, how they can make a piece like that? The Norum riff that kills me ... I really take my hat, the ability to thrill with a song is something that surprises me and only for these moments worth the unconditional support of this band.

Eva, I wholeheartedly agree. "Praise You" is one of the most powerful recordings ever! That is definitely my favorite song on the album, as well as one of my top 5 Europe songs of all time.
I also need to say that War of Kings has rejuvenated my love for listening to music in general. When I was a teenager in the late 80's and early 90's, I used to wear out my cassettes from listening to them so much. Since the advent of mp3's and iPods, i had gotten away from listening to my CD collection. Once "War of Kings" came out, it reminded me of how much I enjoy listening to a full album of amazing songs, like I used to do back in the "days of rock n' roll" . "War of Kings" has become one of my desert island discs, one of my top 10 albums of all time, period!

Had to wait a time but finally got around to purchasing on CD and has arrived in the mail, so get to revisit the whole shebang again now but this time in real stereo and away from the world of digital  Gotta shout out too for the booklet and packaging, sweet foldout pic of the city and band pics. Hey can anyone say whether the LP vinyl is a foldout of that city shot or is it the band shot? 'Really' tempted now to get this on vinyl if can scrape the coin together for it... |

I just wanted to tell you all here that I managed to bag War Of Kings this past Saturday afternoon, at HMV in Lime Ridge Mall in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
I NEVER expected to find WOK in ANY music store in Canada.
Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the find, and it's become my favorite 'get' for this year.
Gives me a happy! =D

I NEVER expected to find WOK in ANY music store in Canada. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the find, and it's become my favorite 'get' for this year.
