I don't know who's behind the promotion and release stuff, but I think the guys should find someone more serious and responsible for the job. Many fans were waiting for today's release and nothing happened (let's hope it's tomorrow). Similar thing happened with 'Not Supposed...'. First they released the radio edit as a single, and when everyone reacted they changed it to the original version. It seems immature and irresponsible for a professional people like them. As for the social network - they need more activity on their blog, Twitter, their official page. I think everyone is on the same page with me on this matter.  |

There definitely should have been better communication about it. All seems a bit confused, no proper announcements on the website or blog. I would have expected the website and blog would be the first place to keep fans informed, but they seem to be neglecting it these days. I mean I know they are very busy with everything, but surely publicising your new release should be a priority.

Which release?  (watch out: irony!) I know it can be troublesome uploading digital content on iTunes or Amazon, but whenever this happens you might just as well let people know. My guess would be that too many instances are involved in the release and that there's a missing link, somebody taking care of the communication flow and connecting these different instances. |

For me the saddest thing is not that yesterday the single was not released, the worst is the lack of information about it. A serious and big band like this can not inform to the world about a date for their single of 10th album and arriving that day and nothing happens and nobody tell anything. The people, the fans are prepared to assume that for some reason it does not matter what, yesterday did not come out the single, but we deserve at least an official communication.
What will happen today ?

How useful it would be for the band's management, in days like today, to have an official site... A safe place where official statement can be stated, informations can be delivered and a link secured...  You like facebook more? I don't agree but if you think it provides a better link go all the way and keep the fans updated. Sorry to say that but, if not for love, do it for the money that thousands of fans would like to take out of their pockets and put into yours. Be more professional... |

I'm not sure if nikos is Daniel Fox  but certainly Nikos (current user of this forum, great administrator of the unfairly closed Official Forum and who coined the phrase of my profile "La tristesse durera toujours") has heard WOK and his opinion is really good ... ! That's important for this forum and for our expectations about the new album ... Michaela Italy friend, you're probably right I have doubts  , first I think that if there was a DVD the band had advertised it more, they know how hungry (their fans) we are about a documentary and would be an added value for the sale of WOK but on the other hand the pre-sale in EMP Spain clearly puts (CD + DVD digipack) and if there were not a DVD, I understand that it would not write it ... About WoK and I mean the song, all I can say that it's not even half as good as some of the songs in the album. In the album there is a 'Beast' song with lots of influences from Sabbath, some Europe post-2003 signature songs, some Zeppelin ones, some Lizzy stuff, a heavier 'No Stoned Unturned' and a song that reminds me of a mixture between Yesterday News and Devil Sings the Blues. And yes, it has incredible melody, amazing solos and heavy riffs. Past present and future in a single pack. People will love it. |
