I think the price for the m&g at least are fair compared to prices asked by some other bands (I have seen for example Def Leppard demand 4 times as much for a m&g). Plus it saves time waiting around in the cold after a show on the chance the band might appear for a fleeting chat and to sign a few items. So it involves a lot less investment of your personal time this way, which is valuable if you can't afford to hang around after the shows. Plus it would be a pain to carry stuff around to get signed and then be disappointed.... and if you like the merch then the items on offer for these meet and greets will be attractive

In 2010 I attended a Meet & Greet in Prague before the show as one of eight winning fans - was a such quick competition on the old forum. Quite pleasant meeting about 15 minutes, I have nice memories, but in hindsight I must say much better meetings with the guys are outside after gigs.. without a planned scenario, without preparation and formalities, no theater. I'm not willing to spend any money for the chance to say hello, make a picture, get an autograph ... JUST MY OPINION. But I understand that the VIP packages and this way of m&g may be acceptable for someone... why not, it's a business. With my sincere wish for you, Eva Tomorrow ! Enjoy London, enjoy m&g! You deserve the best!

I met them at Bloodstock a few years ago, Ian was ace. Really funny bloke, the rest were all cool except Joey. For some strange reason that only he can explain, he refused point blank to sign Azalea Place. My point is that it was free and a really nice touch for the band to do that. I personally think that once you have paid for your ticket that should be that. I don't agree that ANY band, no matter how famous should try to make extra money out of real LOYAL fans. However its each to their own and I dont judge what people want to spend their hard earned money on. Rock on. Also one other thing. There is alot of BSR fans reckon that EUROPE are being blown off the stage at these gigs. I very much doubt it but if true its kind of backfired on doing a co-headliner tour. Dont even get me started on the 70 minute show, that is a total piss take. It will my daughters very first gig, she loves superstitious, then again who dont, ha ha \M/ I personally hope that they play Girl from Lebanon, not Sign of the times when they come to Wolverhampton. People say that the 70 minute set time is a joke, just bear in mind that this was the setlist last time i saw them on the Bag of Bones tour in bristol www.setlist.fm/setlist/europe/2012/o2-academy-bristol-bristol-england-2bda38ae.html16 songs as opposed to 14, and that was a headline show. one of the shortest gigs i've ever been too

I have ticket for M & Greet London, I think each spent their money on what you want, I never dare to judge where people spent their money (a better car, a better house, beers, clothes, travelling ...) as long as you do not harm anyone . Freedom to do what you want without being harshly judged, this I think is more "ROCK", I do not believe I'm going to go to a zoo or anything like that. They are my beloved band and will be an honor and pleasure to greet them, ... nothing more. Wonderful ! Eva Tomorrow ! I was asking for this kind of thing for a long time. Finally (finally !) Europe is doing this, and I'm so sad not to be able to attend any of those shows in UK ! This M&G package looks great : on the photo taken in Dublin, everyone looks happy. That's why I think that's surely nice. fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xap1/v/t1.0-9/18103_10153108208349210_3632166285550352800_n.jpg?oh=f115b64061913acf282c3b0008aefcaf&oe=557496D2&__gda__=1434580635_336d8d0a51123212c937099c07b92ffbI know many people don't like this kind of paying meeting : and fortunately, they are not forced to buy it ! But for the people who like it, it's great that it does exist IMO. That's why I'm happy for you, and say you're lucky, Eva. Please, I hope you won't forget your friends here on this forum, and will share with us everything (I mean : every single word the band will tell you !)

Yes, true, and really as much as we adore them, Def Leppard, for over 3 decades now, this is just a shameful disgrace, to say the very least. Shamelessly dragging thousands of dollars from longest term adoring fans - this just ruins, kills all my respect for them and their surely enormous legacy in metal. (not to mention that this band is an ENGLISH band that stubbornly neglects and ignores UK and all other European countries when it comes to touring there, have been doing so for years, instead thers now YET another announcement of YET another extensive US tour, whats new..) This is a sure way to loose even your most loyal long term fans..
