Excellent, this is fantastic news! What a treat - sometimes I just have to pinch myself to remind me that this is all real. It seems like a dream that this special band is still going strong. But actually, when I stop to think about it, it just doesn't surprise me at all. Cheers Europe

It has begun the pre-sales of tickets for UK tour through Planet Rock web. It gives you the option to buy a ticket for both days of London (20/21 March) and Glasgow (5/6 March). They give you a t-shirt with this kind of ticket. Also will be a guest artist in London planetrock.gigantic.com/europe-and-black-star-riders-tickets

What do you guys think about the special VIP packages (including meet and greet etc) that will be on sale at the local venues' ticket offices? Would you pay extra to meet our guys? Personally I think it would take the fun out of meeting them. If the spontaneity is gone, the fun is gone, too. But what are your opinions on this? My opinion is that the selection to choose people who are lucky enough to have a M & G with the guys should never be money ... there are other options, some kind of contest or even choose randomly among people who are willing to go . That said, and to be honest, if I could, I pay more for a ticket of a concert in which I get the chance to say hello to John Norum ... I have not seen anything in the pre-sales of Planet Rock about VIP Tickets, ... do not know how it's all about, let's see if we get more information.

Personally I buy with pleasure CD's, DVD's, gadgets and concert tickets. I'd never want to buy them. But it's not a problem of money. It's just as you said: if the meeting is not spontaneous all the fun is gone.

To be honest - I don't like this VIP-thing IN GENERAL. not in sports/soccer, not in music. it's not rock n roll IMO. and I prefer to stay unimportant. Yeah thoses packages are just crap! Takes the fun out of it... a part of going is to stand and wait for the band. By the way ... tickets for London Shepherds bush ready! Yay!

About packages of VIP tickets : The WmJN in facebook has reported that the tickets VIP: " ... they have to be booked AFTER having the tickets regularly. So, just stay tuned for the news about the upgrades ..."
So, let's see .... Anyway ... , I see that here there aren't many fans of the "VIP tickets" and the M & G with the band ... Why? Well no, maybe it's an artificial situation, probably to the side is rather unattractive for the band members (even when they respect and value their fans) but I think it is a good opportunity to greet them and take a photo right? I do not know ... if someone wants to tell his / her experience in a M & G with the band would be welcome ...

I do not know ... if someone wants to tell his / her experience in a M & G with the band would be welcome ... What I've understand about these VIP tickets is that you have to buy normal tickets first and then get them upgraded thru the venue ticket booth. But I'm not sure. Well about M&G sure it's a good opportunity to meet the band and get autographs and photos taken. But to pay for it ... na not my "cup of tea" I rather stand and wait for them or try some other way to meet the band. That's more "hard core" haha I have met the band many times during my touring from the bands re-union 2004 to 2014 and it is a real pleasure to meet them and talk to them. Everyone are so nice and friendly. No problem with taking photos with them or ask for autographs and so on. A REAL PLEASURE for sure! Met them in Stockholm, Västerås, Sundsvall, London, Oxford and Upplands Väsby ... probably more places as I've been on 29 concerts with them. But I'm getting old and have started to forget things! But if you want to buy VIP tickets go for it ... I'm sure it's going to be worth it!

You're a lucky man P3aphoto :thumbs-up:I'm sure the band has seen your fabulous photos of the concerts you have been . I really like reading experiences of other fans who have greeted the band and how they are very friendly guys, but I'm a very shy person and I've never expected them outside a hotel or concert because I feel that if I have to fight with other fans "for a photo or a greeting" I couldn't do it . I see a M & G like something official, they are there to "greet their fans" and therefore know what they go, is a situation that could control more that "the door of a hotel" ... I don't know, we'll see ...

First of all it's a very cool pack with the two bands. Actually, All Hell Breaks Loose was one of my favourite albums of last year and I felt dissapointed when the cancelled their spanisht tour. Also, both bands will have new record so it's a tentation.
Regarding de meet and greet issue, I would never, never, nerver pay for change some words and make a photo with any artist. I dont have a reasonable argument for that but I don't like bands to do it. For me it's a little like, "is there any coin left in your pocket? I will pretend you are important for me for some minutes if you give it to me".

I don't think this really comes from the artists themselves, not from Europe anyway... It's more of a thing from the organizers to get money, but the band expressed already many times the fact that they feel like monkeys at the zoo whenever they attend those VIP things and M&G. I can well understand why. But anyway, I've had a couple of occasions for the acoustic sessions during the promotion of Bag of Bones (not paid for them, they were free) and they have been quite good ones, as you could exchange some chats with Joey and John N. Otherwise, the best thing is like paphoto said, to meet them occasionally during trips and they are quite available. But not for those fans running after them and putting their hands on them like toys!!! (Italians, can you hear me?!!??)
