I'd like this new album will be called "Ten" as well as my favourite Pearl Jam's album! But I'm pretty sure it won't. And I remember last time, when we speculated about the name of the new album (BOB), I was far far away from the real line it took, hehehhe, so, tthis time I'll be more cautious and I won't say anything... Impossible!! I need to guess! Well, let me see. I read all your opinions on this thread...but I don't like any of your suggestions. I think this new album won't be on the same line of BOB, because Joey said they want to go back a bit to their previous albums, without losing the blues got in BOB. A mixture!!! A perfect mixture between WOT and BOB!!! OMG! (what a monster!)And I think Joey is so fed up of my continuous complaints about the awful lyrics showed in BOB (well, most probably he has no idea about my opinion, but this is not the point...), that he is concentrating all his energies in singing to his family and to show how happy he is.
This is totally a stupid comment, sorry. But as I told before, I never go to the correct guess!
Vonny.

How about "NOW & TEN" (instead of "Now & Then") ? ...or does it sound lame?

But please, where did JTempest say that they want to go back a bit to their previous albums, without losing the blues got in BOB ? Very interesting new. They can do it, now that they have proved so much in different styles with all their previous albums. Concerning the title, except for the albums EUROPE and SECRET SOCIETY, rather short, all other titles have 3 words (or even 4 with START FROM THE DARK). So Europe seems to like rather long titles. A short one would be a surprise, then... How about "NOW & TEN" (instead of "Now & Then") ? ...or does it sound lame? Personnally, I find it excellent. Really. ... But concerning those ones : 5+5? to me it feels more like 8 + 2 ! Why not 2 + 1 + 2 + 5 , then? Could someone explain to me ? 8+2 and 2+1 +2 5 .... I don't understand anything.

"We want to record the next album in the autumn in a residential studio somewhere, shortly after the Steelhouse Festival, and then release it next year, backed up by more touring. I don't think we're going to dive any deeper into blues and soul with this one. We like the influences we have, so it will be more in the style of 'Last Look At Eden', which we were very happy with, but with a nod to 'Bag Of Bones'. We will just go back to our original influences – bands like Whitesnake, and guitarists like Bernie Marsden and Micky Moody – hard rock, with a touch of blues. We've got new management and we're in the process of planning everything right now. In 2016, we've got the 30th anniversary of 'The Final Countdown', so naturally we'll be doing some stuff around that. I can tell you that there's lots to come and it's gonna be a crazy few years!" Explanation 8 + 2 8 albums with Norum and 2 without. 8 records featuring Mic/Ian and 2 feat. Tony . only 2 guys on all albums. YES, THIS is Tony, not Ian. Emoticon should be renamed. This is Ian.

Consequently, 2 records by Europe Mark I (Tempest, Leven, Norum, Reno), 1 record by Europe Mark II (Tempest, Leven, Norum, Haugland, Micaeli), 2 records by Europe Mark III (Tempest, Leven, Marcello, Haugland, Michali) and 5 records by Europe Mark IV (which incidentally is the same as Mark II but...out of the eighties!) = 2+1+2+5 By the way I also like the title Now & Ten, and EuropeMagnum, relax, I don't bother anymore about what the world may or may not consider lame since 1987 (or it was '88?)

I simply don't believe you like lame sounding stuff... Europe Mark IV does not exist. It's just Europe Mark II re-united.

New suggestion by EuropeMagnum : A few months ago Joey left a message on Facebook where he spoke of the new album of the band in 2014, just saying ... "... We'll be going into the studio again to record beginning of 2014 Europe No: 10. Hey! ...... It's a big deal for us! Ten albums. WOW! ...! Perhaps they should call it "WOW AND TEN"
