Hope you can reach Tornio easier " P3aphoto", for me it's in the middle of nowhere: 1000 Km from Stockholm and 700 km from Helsinki (just to mention the closest airports...), LOL! |

LoL ... closest airports Stockholm and Helsinki!?? Where have you checked that up?  We have an airport here in Luleå (Lulea airport or as we call it Kallax)... it takes 1 hour from Stockholm. Then you can travel by bus to Tornio or rent a car. About 2.5 hours drive from Luleå. www.swedavia.com/lulea/Airports in almost every town up here. Small ones yes but still airports. And you also have a small airport in Tornio-Kemi Finland. www.finavia.fi/en/kemi-tornio/Far easier to go to Tornio then to any other gig in say Norway. |

You're right...but what I am trying to say is that if I use the automatic planner programs, from Bologna in Italy to Lulea in Sweden you have to travel for 15 hours each way, 2 changes and 2 additional days to be considered, plus the fact that the cheapest fare is 624 €... !!!  But I know what you mean... I did it for the gig in Poland, to be smarter than those programs and find my way with low cost companies by building up the travel piece after piece and not all together. Still 2 additional days applied, but through London, with Ryanair, I have been able to reach Gdansk at a human price, and meanwhile discovering that Gdansk was the same city as Danzig... not to be given for granted!  I have that weekend free on July 5th, so I definitively will try to find my way to Tornio! I like these kind of challenges!  |
