Actually about the documentary... I was speaking to Ian in Dubai. He mentioned to me that this time should be the fans to make a documentary about the band... Since then, I have this idea in the back of my mind... I don't have so much time and most of all I am a recent fan of Europe, not one of those back in the days with lots of memories, but anyhow I like to take lots of photos and videos and it would be so amazing to shoot something about a few people that have something to say. Just to be "Patric for one day", LOL! Unfortunately as the most of us I think, time constraints are tough to realize these kind of things. But I have some ideas in my mind and after Joey said so, I think we could surely propose to make a part of the documentary ourselves! I have a few cases on my mind as well (not personal ones, but I know who to search for...). Think about it, people on the forum...we could join a sort of taskforce for this! Maybe we could propose something back to the band to complete their own view??!!??  I am dreaming...  |

I've thought ever that fans of Aphasia Forum might have some detail with the band, we could offer them something that symbolizes about what we feel and perceive from this side. I think the difficulty is that we live in different parts of the world  and this does difficult any project that can be performed. But we can do a "brain storming" (Michaela when you have time you could share any ideas) and probably we come up to get something interesting and feasible that we perform. Don't you think? Maybe we could collect our photos of the concerts that we have seen (to avoid problems) and make some kind of documentary with our comments ... I don't know ... I am also dreaming! LOL   |

Eva Tomorrow, Michaela Italy, I admit I'm dreaming too! Some kind of counter-documentary, made by us fans, would be great if it could finally get to the band and show them we exist! I'd like them to know I'm here and I've always been, even if I haven't got the possibility to physically follow them or to buy all of their DVDs. Maybe a puzzle, made by the pictures of our faces, then our memories, our comments... I haven't got much material, but I kept photos and articles I gathered in the Eighties (teen magazines often talked about the guys), the ticket of the OOTW concert (that time I also went around through the city with my friends to find some poster of the tour I could scratch away from the walls... all I could get was a Joey's face in A4 dimension...  ), some lyrics I wrote after Joey's style... Glorious times they were! Think about it, friends, let's see what comes out!!!

Concerning a documentary... There's already a great one made by a fan ! It's called "EUROPE behind the music" : part 1 : part 2 : part 3 : With subtitles when it's needed. Excellent work. Just some new and recent elements to be added... (but... it seems to me I know the name of the producer of this documentary; don't you ?  ) |

I've thought about making a EUROPE documentary for many years. I actually made some videos around 2006, but I never got around to making a full series or posting any of the videos on YouTube. I have a lot more footage to choose from now than I did in 2006, so maybe someday I will put something new together.
