They survived another day of severe beating and thrashing?
My drums have never sounded more powerful, alive and kicking. It's just pure joy to play them. I'm quite sure the new album will have the best drumsound i've had so far!
Tomorrow we'll rehearse again, only 3 days until we hit the studio... Exciting..."

I totally agree! That's really exciting, the creation of a new album is not something that happens every day and I think our brave men have all the good conditions to "make some serious damage" out there!!! They do have exciting plans for 2015, even if not shared completely, but the touring of North America looks much more at hand now. I am so happy for all the American fans who have patiently waited for such a long time. Happy for the band, they seems to have found the right push and sponsor now. To all my dear friends in this forum, lets stay tuned and we'll see some magic soon!!!  |

Breaking news! Via Ian Official Facebook Page few minutes ago : " ... Hey friends!
Last rehearsals done, tomorrow is the big day when we start recording Europe no.10, it feels really exciting! Gonna meet up with the producer and his engineer in 10 minutes to go through the studio and the recording routines and to just get to know eachother alittle before we start working tomorrow
I got a feeling we're on to something huge ..."
 Hopefully Ian keep telling us things ...  Anyway ... we still don't know the producer's name !! Ian talks about "the producer and his engineer" ... but the name ?

Hopefully Ian keep telling us things ... Anyway ... we still don't know the producer's name !! Ian talks about "the producer and his engineer" ... but the name ? Well, we know something: they don't know each other. So he isn't someone they have worked with before. This takes out Thomas Erdtman (and this is not a surprise), Leif Mases, Kevin Elson, Ron Nevison, Beau Hill, Tobias Lindell and Kevin Shirley. I'm happy that they decided to choose someone new, it always brings some fresh air. And I think that they want to make an official announcement, that's why Ian isn't telling the name yet. More and more excited...I love when things happen so...live! |

I was hoping for Tobias Lindell again. His production on LLAE, SRF2013 DVD and all the other stuff he has done for the band, have been just great  According to Ian's reply to me a few days ago, the band will make some press release or facebook statement about the studio and producer, and since they're only a few days away from starting recording, it must be one of these days |

At the studio setting up sound and gear. The drums sound faaaantastic... Already!
Here's the drum tech Johan Kullberg who's helping me setting up the stuff and tuning the drums. I just know this will be the best drum sound i ever had... That anybody had! ..."If the whole band has the good vibrations and sensations that Ian has, we have in front something big !!
