A few months ago Joey left a message on Facebook where he spoke of the new album of the band in 2014, just saying ... "... We'll be going into the studio again to record beginning of 2014 Europe No: 10. Hey! ...... It's a big deal for us! Ten albums. WOW! ...! If we see the calendar they have some dates in Spain ( ) at the end of March and in April the UK tour, ... to enter in the studio earlier next year would be during January and February and I think is very soon, but if they do for May could also be very close to the Summer festivals. If they record after christmas, we should soon have some information about it, for example who is going to be the producer of this album, again Kevin? BAG OF BONES has been a big success so maybe yes ... let's see !!

Who knows? It seems to me they've been so engaged playing live here and there that it's probably too soon to start recording a new album... I'm really afraid they'll be late and will start recording after the summer... Or maybe, speaking Joey that way, they already have some songs written? Anywyay, in my opinion they have no reason to be in a hurry, it's better to wait some months more and have a CD they're completely convinced of!

I also have the feeling that time passes sooo fast and it's better that the band takes their time for the next album ... things well done should be done carefully, slowly, but we are seeing the issue from our point of view, maybe they already have the songs, perhaps only need recording them, ... in any case, autumn next year seems a good time for me too. We'll see for the band ? And about the producer, I find it interesting to know who will choose in this time, I think (not sure of this) that have not repeated the same producer in two albums... so, who can be?

I think that they did it only with TFC and SFTD, both produced by Kevin Elson (since SFTD was the reunion album, they wanted to work with someone that they knew). I think that changing the producer at every album is a very good thing, and worked very well in the past. I hope for someone different also for the next release.

You're very patient, Eva Tomorrow ! For my sake, the earlier, the best ... Next autumn would be so far. If Mr Tempest spoke about those dates, he probably knows what he does. Perhaps almost all the songs are ready, already ? I'm not sure that's the best thing to do what they did for BOB : going in the studio with a great producer and perfect instruments, but without any song (I remember a funny post made by Ian or Norum about the beginnings of BOB recording: "I thought : all right, we have everything now, only are missing the songs" ! ). But of course, they decide the way they are working. Concerning the producer, it seems to me they said they'd like to work again with K Shirley. But maybe they changed their mind. Anyway, IMO, that's clever not to speak too much about their next album : First , Right now, they have to promote their 30th anniversary DVD. That's they actual priority. And secundly, they avoid too much pressure : they can work quietly on lyrics and music -almost secretly .

In rocknytt interview, here's what Mic is saying (google translation) : "Mic : We're going out and touring in the fall. It becomes a Orderly hat spirit and forth . It becomes JAPAN , TAIWAN , DUBAI, TURKEY , MEXICO and then some. Then we will start writing songs for the next album interspersed with some gigs in the spring. But the main focus in the spring will be to record the new album. " www.rocknytt.net/intervjuer/12726-europe-det-var-pa-haret-att-vi-inte-fick-spela-the-final-countdownSo, song writing in winter, and recording in spring. Then you're probably right, Eva Tomorrow : the album will be released next autumn.

I agree with Guesswho. I want it as soon as possible. Actually the band hasn't done so many gigs this year so they should already have some stuff to work with. I liked a lot the joeb the've made with Kevin Sherley. It's been fast, simple and tasty.

Joey did an interview yesterday in BRFM (UK) promoting the new dvd. And he said the band plans for 2014 are:
To write new songs in January/February/March, then to record the album in May/June and release it in european Autumn.
