Last night in Madrid ...
Yesterday in Madrid, for me one of the best Europe's concerts that I 've gone. I was with our friend gemaim ( distinguished user of this forum) and we lived it intensely, we had our arms up in each song capturing all the energy and the good vibes that the band was giving us song to song. The crowd was totally devoted to the band and I think they felt it in that way. Joey was very happy, It is quite a sight to see him on stage, yesterday he was scoundrel, elegant, with a powerful voice that is perfectly suited to each song, he interacted with the audience, his eyes capturing the crowd, the ability to pick up people on one side and the across the stage, he was very cool, and enjoyed a lot, kept repeating the name of the album "Wings of Tomorrow" in Spanish ha ha ha " Alas del Mañana" , told us about the "las jodidas palmeras " on the concert venue (are palm trees next to the bar) ... was delivered, he was growing song to song and I think in the end he did not want to go!! also because people when finished "The Final Countdown" was still celebrating with arms up singing "oeoeoe oeoeoe" that made Joey remain stopped in front of the crow with a big smile ... it was really great !
In every song , every solo Norum, ... people sang and clapped, it was magical, Norum was also very good vibes. We were on the Norum side and he smiled several times , I was also enjoying it. John Leven interacted with people in the front rows, ... at concerts is not the same shy guy of the interviews. Ian was wonderful, gift us his great solo drum, with his sunglasses on his throne pushing strong, the people vibrated with it. And Mic, he is very big, did his beautiful introduction of "No Stone Unturned" ... moment in which gemaim and I crossed our look and we celebrate that this was our wonderful winning song of our great forum thread "The Battle: Ready or Not !!" ... I feel that somehow he dedicated the song to this forum , ... actually he doesn't know, but I feel in this way (he he).
The list of songs chosen was very good ... played "Wasted Time", "Storwind" and "Dance the Night Away" from WOT ... also gave us "Lost is not the enemy" and "The Best". .. surprise for me was "Demon head" ... and played "Carrie" ... we would have preferred "Open Your Heart", but worth it ... just to see how Madrid sing this song, is exciting .. haha ...is really an interesting experience, I think we have to leave this song as our city anthem.
Norum played so fine, or so it seemed to me , his very clear plucking, yesterday I enjoyed even his solo in TFC which I've heard a million times, is that he's a genius, he played with the same energy as always how if this song was one of the last album, this musician playing guitar with all his body, returned to thrill me with solo in Girl from Lebanon, his guitar transports you to another dimension. Quite a sight to see him play live. Thank you so much John.
Well and many things more ... but in short, another great concert of our beloved band ... their sound is fresh, powerful, ... and their attitude is great ... so we'll continue to write the chapters of this book, I hope we have many more
gemaim, nice to meet you ... it was great to share the concert with you. See you at the next!

Great show!!! I wish I were there... Eva, you're great transmitting your feelings to your writing. I clearly felt as I was there on front row again with you!!!
Unfortunately, I was told the band won't visit Chile (or South America)this year. You can't imagine how hard is to wait these guys year after year... most of you have the possibility to travel and see their shows in another country. This possibility doesn't exist for me due to long distance. I am sad. But I can feel myself in the shows if you describe the experience with me.
Thanks, Eva!!!!
