01/12/12 London O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire / London / ENGLANDEUROPE Shepherds Bush Empire 01/12/2012 Written by: Fox James (December 3, 2012) Source: METALMOUTH " ... Tonight, I went to see Europe. Yes, “The Final Countdown” 1980′s permed mullet Europe. And by god they have changed (thankfully!). That is not to say the Swedes do not sound like Europe, because they do. Only they sound tighter, harder, feistier and downright goddamn sexier ..."" ... What to say about Tempests vocals, the guy can sing like a lark that’s what. Spotless notes, clarity, power and precision, with the right amount of emphasis on peaks and troughs...""...Drum wise, there were no spectacularly self-indulgent solo’s, there were no ridiculous attempts at frockwearer rock pomposity, it was straight down the line, solid percussion and it was a lovely thing. Beautifully toned, not overpowering, and a guy that has clearly honed his art without feeling the need to try to dominate proceedings. A backbone to be uber proud of..."" ... The bassist I just couldn’t see from my balcony spot, but there was no mistaking he was there, again, spotless in sound, throwing some gutsy tone behind the intricacy of the lead guitar ...""... Europe, come back soon, please. We need this style of quality rock, more so now than ever..."metalmouth.net/2012/12/europe-shepherds-bush-empire-01122012/

It's great dears "Vicky" and "Guess" because EUROPE has wonderful reviews and I really enjoy reading them ... in the case of concert in Shepherd Bush in London last year especially, because I was lucky to be there, and I agree with all comments. But if you enjoyed this, please don't miss the next one. 01/12/12 London O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire / London / ENGLANDEurope Live At O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire 1st December 2012 5 December SOURCE: FIREBRAND MAGAZINE "...As a performance, I really can’t fault it. The band were absolutely on fire..."
"... Joey Tempest is a born front man, and his stage presence is always a joy to behold, especially the way he interacts with the other band members. ..."
"...I also have to give a big nod to Mic Michaeli not only for his keyboards, but for taking on other instruments during the acoustic set..."
"...The rhythm section of John Leven and Ian Haugland never fail to be anything less than brilliant. .."
"...Then of course, we move onto John Norum, who is, in my mind, one of the finest guitarists to have ever graced our ears with music..."
"... Europe are a serious rock band, and I don’t know of anyone who’s had a bad thing to say about them on this tour..."

01/12/12 London O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire / London / ENGLANDEUROPE: SHEPHERD'S BUSH EMPIRE, LONDON Pics by Solange Moreira-Yeoell (This review has good pics ) SOURCE: METALTALK, "...26-years-old now and it still divides opinion but there's no disputing the fact that the 'Final Countdown' is a storming live track that blows the roof off tonight and for a younger generation out there, this song is better known than Led Zep's 'Stairway To Heaven'... FACT!... It's a classic that is instantly recognized, that not only do we all know the words to it but is also one of the few rock anthems that you can air guitar to, but also you can get those air keyboards out and parp along. Long may it reign supreme... Pure gold! ..."metaltalk.net/columns/201017138.php

27/11/12 Nottingham Rock City / Nottingham / ENGLAND Europe @ Rock City, Nottingham – November 27, 2012 By Mark Wrigley | November 30, 2012 (Live Reviews) SOURCE: This is not scene RATE: 8 /10 (Good photos ) " ... Seriously, I challenge anyone to go to a Europe gig and not come out grinning like a fat kid in a sweet shop. These guys really are far more than ‘The Final Countdown’, they have musicianship and presence in spades, ..."" ... Tempest’s vocals are crystal, cutting through the mix as John Norum’s fretwork intertwines with John Leven‘s groove laden basslines. Driving and rhythmical, these boys really hit their stride with the second track “Not Supposed To Sing The Blues”..."" ... ‘The Final Countdown’ lays waste to the place. The ultimate finale, Europe have won. Everyone leaves that venue grinning from ear to ear. Talking to an old fella afterwards, he said he’d seen Elvis live, and he claimed Europe were much better. He was 71, and that’s some accolade..."" ...Top Bombing from the Swedes..."www.thisisnotascene.com/2012/europe-rock-city-nottingham-november-27-2012/

01/12/12 London O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire / London / ENGLANDEUROPE- LIVE AT THE SHEPHERDS BUSH EMPIRE Review By Jonjo Cosgrove Final Rating 9/10 SOURCE: MIGMAG"... Europe, one of rocks most underrated bands. It’s a shame to think that they will never be given the chance to prove themselves in an arena setting, that’s where I think their music would be best. A great blend of all the classics as well as servings of the newer half of their material (six tracks from new album ‘Bag Of Bones’ feature too). Europe are not done yet, they still have a lot more rocking to do. Maybe one day, they will be performing The Final Countdown to an arena setting, I for one really hope so..."www.migmag.co.uk/europe-live-at-o2-shepherds-bush-empire/

22/11/12 Glasgow O2 Academy / Glasgow / SCOTLANDGig Review: Europe – ABC, Glasgow – 22 November 2012 Posted on November 26, 2012 by david.wilson SOURCE: Get ready to rock "... This was a great show and one that was well worth the wait. Mention Europe to anyone and you will without doubt get the opening bars of ‘The Final Countdown’ sung back at you, hell even my 12 year old son burst into the song when told where his mum and dad were off to, but there is far more to the band than ‘that’ track, you just have to witness them live to appreciate what a great hard rock band they really are..."getreadytorock.me.uk/blog/2012/11/europe-abc-glasgow-221112/
