It was in april 2013. Not really new. However, that's an interesting interview that JTempest made in Finland for a cultural magazine named "Horisont". horisont.fi/2013/04/joey-tempest-om-lyriken-musiken-och-knepet-for-att-forbli-evigt-ung/JTempest speaks about his texts as a writer. We learn that his favorite lyrics are "Devil sings the blues". Nice, even if I didn't understand everything, due to the fact that the google translator provided strange things sometimes...

I must say that from the very first times I heard JTempest - and especially his solo albums, I was striked by the great quality of his lyrics. It's a bit lost in Europe 2 last albums. But from "A place to call home" to "Secret society", the text were excellent. Well-written, rich themes, original words and ideas... I've often thought that his lyrics could be studied at the university for a litterature thesis. The most exceptional, in my taste : probably "Pleasure and pain".
