Today I found in a record store a new compilation CD of the band, the album is called "EUROPE THE COLLECTION" and has songs from all the albums to the first stage, songs like "Prisoners in Paradise" or "Seven doors hotels" and "I'll cry for you" ... It was published in 2009 and has a photo on the cover of Europe the continent at night with lights under the band name and the other side the same photo of EE.UU ... very beautiful view, I had not seen before ... imageshack.us/g/1/10089100/This has made me review the albums I have of collection. There are fans who have a large collection, not my case, I've bought some when I see them. imageshack.us/g/1/10089078/I have special affection for this CD that has together "Out of this world" and "Prisoners In Paradise" ... I bought it in London. imageshack.us/photo/my-images/32/20130402212101.jpg/

Who´s Michael Michaeli??? Personally, I don´t like compilations at all, I only have the 1982-1992... I think they´re only another way to get easy money (for the record company that own the rights to those songs).

An interesting note about The Collection: The tracklisting include 8 of 9 tracks from the Europe album! Only "Boyazont" is missing. No tracks from Wings of Tomorrow, though. In my opinion, the best Europe compilation is Rock the Night.

Fernanda, ...and Who's Mathias Michaeli ? imageshack.us/photo/my-images/683/20130404210223.jpg/I'll keep looking I'm sure that must appear somewhere on the CD also the name "Gunnar Michaeli" .... I agree that this kind of compilation CD only looking to make money, but there are fans like me that I don't refuse to buy it if I see a new compilation CD that I still don't have

i bought some of these "collections"... most of them are more than bizarre... some of the compilers did smoke the wrong pot instead of listening to Europe... however i like the double vinyl of 1982-1992 and the RTN double CD which contains some good remasters of TFC tracks.

the RTN double CD which contains some good remasters of TFC tracks. Not only the Final countdown songs...The Out of this world songs sound much more powerfull as well. I think they've used the 2004 (Japanese) remastered songs for this compilation. RTN is the best compilation in my book as well. All the other ones (way too many if you ask me) are nice to have but no real must haves. At least that's how I feel it

Out of the several EUROPE compilation albums out there, The Collection (2009) is one of the more interesting ones, mainly because it contains almost all the songs from Europe (1983). If you look at the tracklist, the only Europe track missing is "Boyazont". Tracklist:1 The Final Countdown 2 Prisoners In Paradise 3 Rock The Night 4 Seven Doors Hotel 5 Farewell 6 Memories 7 I'll Cry For You 8 In The Future To Come 9 Paradize Bay 10 Superstitious 11 Let The Good Times Rock 12 Cherokee 13 The King Will Return 14 Danger On The Track 15 Children Of This Time 16 Words Of Wisdom However... There's an error in the tracklist. If you play the CD or if you play the album in iTunes or Spotify and listen to track 5... It's not "Farewell". It's actually "Open Your Heart", specifically the version from Wings of Tomorrow.
