3) My meeting with NORUM.
Finally it happened. I met him, I talked to him, I shaked hands with him, and... he huged me !
First part :
JONKOPING.
It began when I arrived at Harrys Sliver pub to buy my tickets. Norum was there, and the seller man asked me if I wanted to speak to him - I didn't tell "no", as you can imagine.
To be honest, Norum seemed a bit bored then. Obviously, meeting unknown fans is a kind of shore for him.
But he was very kind and polite anyway. I tell I was coming from France for his show, asked if I could shake hands with him (which was one of my dream : to touch his "golden fingers" !), and shoot a photo. I even asked him to remove his sunglasses -which he did kindly.
He put his arm around my shoulders, as he does with every fan for photos (but I must say it surprised me a little at the beginning, because asking pictures to a rock star is not an usual exercise for me.) So, until then, everything was very "professional".
At that moment, begins our more "personal" and unconventional "relationship". Because while my sister was shooting pictures (with my not-working-telephon !) I realized that i still had my black anorak closed up to the chin, and felt uncomfortable with it. So i told norum : "Wait a moment, please, it's too dark". He watch me, rather astonished, and answered in a funny way : "Too dark?" as if he was hearing the most weird thing of the year (I think he likes black colour a lot...). I laughed, we took the pictures, I congratulated him for his talent, saying in front of all the people there that he was one of the best guitar players in the world. Then we shaked hands again, and suddenly i wanted to kid him after this very serious meeting. So, before going away, I added in an exagerated ceremonious tone: "It was an HONOUR to touch your magic fingers". And I saw he was wondering if I was joking or not...
I thought I would'nt meet him anymore, but a few hours later, I found him in the hotel hall, with Ronny Rompa Bernstrom. It was when I had realized that my first photos were spoiled. So I came to him, very pitiful, and said : "Sorry, but my phonecamera didn't work in the pub; may we take another picture now? If it doesn't disturb you?"
And he asked : "well, in fact YOU always disturb me !"
It could have sounded nasty ; but as he was smiling,I laughed too, and made a gesture as if I was going to beat him.
He came to me, and took the pose again for the photo. My sister -my official photographer- told : "move, there's a bad light". So we moved, and my sister took many pictures.
Then, we talked a bit. I told I wish he could play in France, explained that it was painful for me to take planes... He answered that he didn't like planes at all, as well.
Then I let him alone, not too disturb him too much before the show. At night, when I went to the Harrys pub, I saw him arriving just after me, so we shared a few words again. i told him i was afraid that the last photos were not good again, and he answered, as if he felt very concerned : "I think you should buy a new material..."
During his extraordinary show, I noticed that at a moment, instead of saying "tack" or "Thank you", he said "merci, merci beaucoup" which repeated Tone, too. And i found it very kind and elegant from them.
