Congratulations on meeting Norum. He's such a nice and down to earth guy. From the youtube and facebook videos, it looks like it was a very cool gig Do you have a setlist? Yes, it was excellent. I can't tell the setlist, as I didn't know most of the songs. There was the "Flamenco" first, and then a mike Oldfield song. The show was rather short : around One hour. This swedish fan uploaded many songs from Upplands vasby : www.youtube.com/user/lottalove62/videosYou can see some titles, then... At a moment, Tone Norum's daughter came on stage and sang with her mum. Althought she's only 12 or 14 years old, She has a beautiful voice already, and very different from Tone. Ian came on stage too at the end, for TFC and RTN covers. Very cool. I'll tell you more details tomorrow, as I'm just back home nowand I'm really tired. FERNANDA, thank you for the title of the song. Michaela, thank you for your message. it was funny to see myself ! Last detail : I have some videos and... photos with Norum ! (yes,my camera worked finally)

Wonderful video, Norum playing FLAMENCO !!! I love it ... (Fantastic Lotta's video, a swedish fan.) Yes, and she uploaded this one, too , "King's call" One of my favorites with the flamenco ! What I liked, too, was "Hit the road, Jack" (Tone singing): And "Come give me love", a Swedish song -as the title says !! Barracuda was very impressive, aswell. The 2 songs that wouldn't have missed me at all were : TFC and RTN ! It was probably the 3000th time I was hearing them ... But I sang and applaused a lot anyway ! (Hey, that's Europe songs after all ! )

At upplands Väsby, before the show, I met ToRd (you know, the one who sells Europe merchandise...), whom I know from Europe's tour in France. And he looked so surprised to see me there. He said : "You did ALL that way !" I answered yes, and he repeated again "you did all that way" as if he couldn't believe it, that I came from France to see Norum. Honestly, before the concerts, I was not sure that I'd like everything... But finally, those 2 shows were among the best I heard. And watching The video on youtube, I feel it was even better that I thought on the moment. Very eclectic : blues, rock, pop, ballads, and even flamenco ! Norum has showed he can play everything (only classical music was missing, but maybe he will add this one day ! !

In this video John sings STARMAN, he defends pretty well the song and the high notes, but maybe he does something retracted, because is actually a guitar player... I think that in "Play Yard Blues" John's voice sounds too serious but he could reach higher tones, let's see in the next solo album ...

For the few ones who can be interested, here's a little report. 1) The trip : I'd like to tell something that can be useful for fans. I've travelled with Ryan Air, and the ticket price was... 19 euros ! The flight was between Girona (in Spain, but not too far from where I live in France) and JÖnkoping, so very comfortable that I arrived straight at the good place. At the airport, I've noticed that there's direct fights towards other little swedish towns. For instance, Kalmar : and this point can be interesting for spanish fans going to Sweden rock. Another point is that I booked the hotels throught "booking.com". It's the best way to get good prices. For example a room in the Savoy can reach 200 euros, but with booking. com you can pay it less than 100. And it was worthy to go there, as the concert was at the same place : so no tiring walk at night, and... an occasion to meet Norum !

2) The shows. These shows exceeded all my expectations. I thought it would be interesting because very unusual ; a world premiere : John and his sister together. The idea to see norum in small venues seemed nice to me, too. But I didn't think it would be THAT good and pleasant. They sang very different songs, as you know : thin lizzy, mike oldfield, the shadows, a flamenco, etc. So, even if I was not supposed to be fond of one of them, it was not boring at all, because every next song was a surprise of a different style. It was like a journey among what the NORUMs like, an invitation to travel with them, with elegance and talent. One of my dreams was to see from a near place Norum playing , so that I could enjoy all his fingers dexterity : and I was lucky enough to be very close indeed. At Väsby, I was sitting at the 2nd row, which was very confortable. But the most amazing was at Jonkoping, because I was standing at the first row, only 80 cm from Norum ! I could have touched his knees... So, I have seen clearly his fingers. And you know what ? He plays so fast that I'm still wondering if he doesn't have 3 little fingers instead of one ! I must add Tone Norum is really a great singer. her voice is beautiful, and she has a surprising presence, very shining : once you begin to watch her, you can't look something else, because she bewitching. And she's one of the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I've met her in the hotel during the day, so I can say it was not only under the spotlights that she's pretty... well, my only regret is that Norum didn't play one of his song. I wonder why..? Personnaly, I would have prefered a Norum song than TFC and RTN. But you know what ? It was so great that I'd attend with pleasure their next shows! (no way, unfortunately.) I've asked Norum to come and play in France. But I'm quite sure it'll never happen. Never mind. I've seen Norum in this very unusual exercise. One time in my life. And i'm aware that I've lived an exceptional moment.

Dear Guess, I am really convinced that you've had an exceptional experience! Such an intimate show for devoted fans is the ideal situation I think...of course you may want to see our band in action in huge venues and feel the pressure of the crowd as well, but this is a unique experience that goes straight to the heart! I have lived it through your eyes, thanks for sharing your impressions and feelings. Also these kind of experiences are really the ones that create an incredible bond with them! I have probably not gone through all the material shared on you tube by now, but I can tell my impressions as a spectator: - Tone Norum, in spite of her age, is looking like a cute girl! She has got an amazing voice as well, very very sweet and talented! - John and Ian are very down-to-earth guys and I appreciate the more and more to have met them and had the possibility to shake hands with them as well. Very special people to get to know... - I was surprised at Tone and John playing - once again for him - RTN and TFC... I still prefer the Europe version, but I noticed one thing... Also during the interview with John and Tone, she has been very respectful of Joey Tempest. At the question whether they prefer John Bon Jovi or Joey Tempest as a singer (was that the question in swedish?) they both responded "Joey Tempest" of course, but I noticed Tone became very serious all at a sudden like she was saying "hey we're not joking here, Joey Tempest with no doubt" and John confirmed back. Like Tone feels very grateful to this man. I have appreciated a lot their attitude. It was visible I think, but just my opinion and - most of all - my personal feeling out of it! - Linked to the previous point, the fact that Tone is echoing Joey someway in her singing of RTN and TFC... that means to me that there's a deep bond between these guys who got to know each other when they were just kids. I am curious to know what do you think about this, after having attended personally...!!!
