the capacity of the most venues is from 1500 to 2500. i think they can do bigger venues. here in holland they come in the venue 013. .capicity 2200. there is a venue calls, heiniken music hall capicity 5000. i think europe is big enough to do venues like 4 or 5000. or maby they like the little venues to have a more contact with the audience. that is very good, but i think they can fill bigger venues.

Maybe with BOB, they'll be able to fill bigger venues. But until now, 1500 to 3000 venues were good for them. I remember during the Balls n banners tour in England, I was at their show at Bournemouth O2 academy, and it was far to be full. Just think about something : to play concerts, they have to rent the venues. And big venue are very very expensive : tens of thousands euros per night !!! So, if they don't fill them, they will loose a lot of money and risk the bankruptcy ! And then, no more Europe !

They have a fee and agencies/promoters are who decide the rest, ticket prices, costs of flights/accomodation/venues/security/ food/ promotion for the show, etc. And of course their own profits... So, if someone is gonna loose money is promoter, not the band....

I saw them in a 900 capacity venue (San Diego) and it was really great. So intimate.

I think you're right, Fernanda However, I think that if a promoter loose a lot of money with a band, then it becomes difficult for this band to find good promoters again... And from an artistical point of view, it's not very good for a band to play in a half empty place... Better if it's smaller but crowded.
