But Joey is too incisive with the search of this new era, I hope that it does not mean denying his past. He is struggling with himself...but have you heard how he defined the band in the 80's for the new audience generation? "Majestic" ...and his eyes were shining while saying this. I hope he will desist just to reach the "max extent" (almost a destructive one) of his new motion and leave a bit of the older soul to stay there and further inspire him. It's so amazing to look at him these days, he is full with enthusiasm! Which I think derives also from the awareness that they have been building the myth of this band piece after piece over the last 30 years.

Whatever he decides. I trust him. And I don't expect him to sing the same stuff all his life. Can we even imagine what it's like to have done a thousand shows? Also, their other songs are not album-fillers. They're all good.

Yes, Joey is happy with the result of the album ... is great to see his enthusiasm in interviews, I think he deserves it ... is a great singer who has not had the recognition it deserved in the first stage of the band because maybe his imponent physique eclipsed his great category as a musician. I am glad to see it happy, and as highlighted in the press at a great time. Michaela, I'll love to know how you will feel after seeing the band live, is going to be great. For me London in 2011 was the third time I saw them live and when Norum played "The Loner" I began to mourn ... OMG! (I hate cry ... I felt stupid ) but when you are in a EUROPE's concert all your emotions are magnified ...

For me London in 2011 was the third time I saw them live and when Norum played "The Loner" I began to mourn ... OMG! (I hate cry ... I felt stupid ) but when you are in a EUROPE's concert all your emotions are magnified ... I bless the fact we have this place to share, as I will be certainly willing to share my impressions and feelings. Today I am particularly in a good mood as I saw this interview where Joey tells about parents bringing their kids to their concerts. I'll be one of these parents. My 2nd daughter is with me in Sweden, both daughters in Switzerland and all my 3 kids will join in London in December. I suspect, but don't tell anybody, that's twofold: on one side they like Europe music and they know the band's members, but also am I bringing them with me so that I have to behave myself? At my age you know, this should be appropriate (to well behave I mean)...but, after all I discovered from the interviews that I am just 28! ..and I will shout myself out at the concerts, you can be sure of that!

And I'm 14 in that case! I must have someone older to accompany me at the shows!

I agree that they need to play that song. It's too important and defining for the fans and the band. BUT what they could do is a different version of the song. Give it a completely new feel, fresh and interesting for the band and fans yet still a nod of respect to TFC
