Once more, a thing must be noted : EUROPE is an extremely gifted band, no doubt. Not surprising that some british journalists said they are currently one of the best band in the world. That's simply true, because I don't see who could be better !
How good they are :
Extraordinary performances during the whole show in Strasbourg!
Absolute highlight of the show : the song "Bag Of Bones", probably.
This song is my favorite with "Rches to rags" on BOB.
I must confess that played live on youtube, it seemed a bit weak to me... But in fact, what an amazing song and so rich performance ! Marvellous.
The acoustic part is wonderful, too !
Before "The Beast", there's a new intro, kind of "tibetan songs", very nice !
Great, too, the fact that at every junction between the different parts of the show, Mic Michaeli is playing some impros, sometimes together with JTempest.
Norum singing : huge. Even if I'm generally not fond of the kind of song he performed (not able to listen to this during a whole show...), it was simply excellent. Good singer.
Speaking about Norum, I've always been impressed by him. But this time, when he arrived on stage (I was in front of him, at the 3rd row), it's the first time I felt so strong that he's a living legend. So simple, so kind, not aware at all that he's a legend. but a true legend anyway... The highest calibre.
JTempest was on great shape : magnificent voice, moving, running, jumping, playing. What a perfect performer !
Funny fact of the show : JTempest trying to speak French, and speaking German in fact - probably because he had mixed up his notes from the previous concerts...
(but at the beginning, he said perfectly "Bonjour comment çà va"
...)
Mic played very often. And as the sound was perfect, evrything was heard very well.
But, during the acoustic part, why did he put his chair behind the 4 others ? he was completely hidden !!!
so, I didn't see him playing the mandoline.

And Ian, as energetic as usual. But I couldn't see his eyes, even when he was in the front !
I've met "the crew" : Ronny Rompa, Tord and Tony. Nice men !

), so I can't tell them how much I enjoyed The technical part of the show : both the lights and the sound were perfect.
