Hi! Thought I'd finally join, since I've been reading this forum (and the fan site) since I discovered Europe in 2016. I already knew about The Final Countdown, and used to listen to it pretty much every day, so eventually decided to buy a greatest hits CD, to see if their other songs were any good. I'm glad I did, because they're now my favourite band, and I have every album, even though some were quite hard to track down! I've only seen them live once - At St David's Hall in Cardiff, 21st of September 2018 (the live premier of Pictures!), and hope to see them again as many times as possible! My favourite album is Wings Of Tomorrow. I don't think I could choose a favourite song, but my top three, at least for today, are: Treated Bad Again (air guitar heaven!), The Siege and Prisoners In Paradise. I also love John Norum's solo albums, hence my username. I live in the UK, or more specifically Cornwall (a place that seems to be ignored by whoever organises most bands tours!). Funnily enough, I'm also 16 - so norumfan1987, you're probably not the youngest member, as I was born in January! I listen to a lot of music other than Europe, including 70s bands like Deep Purple, Led Zep, Thin Lizzy and UFO; 80s bands like Whitesnake, Def Leppard and Van Halen; and blues like Cream, Fleetwood Mac and Gary Moore. I also play guitar.

Hello. My name is Kelly and I've been a Europe fanatic since I was 14 years old (many, MANY years ago🤣). Their music got me through a pretty rough adolescence and for that I will be forever grateful. I live in California and have seen the boys in concert three times. The first two concerts were both in April of 2004 at House of Blues in Anaheim and the next day at Cane's in San Diego. The third time I saw them was in January of 2016 at the Rockbar in San Jose. My favorite album of theirs is "Start From the Dark" and while it would be impossible for me to pick just one favorite song, I do get emotional every time I hear "Hero". My husband has been a real trooper supporting my obsession during our 23 year marriage. In fact most of my signed memorabilia was purchased by him and he has encouraged me to hang them in the living room and bedroom. He wasn't much of a fan when we first met but he has definitely been converted over the years. Especially after seeing what a great show they put on live. Anyway, thought I would introduce myself. It's nice to "meet" you all. 😁
