Understandably the current set-list draws heavily from the 'Bag of Bones' album which of course makes sense since that is the album the tour is promoting....but has anybody noticed something slightly strange about the current set-list? I am referring to the total absence in most shows recently of a single track from 'Secret Society'. No 'Always the Pretenders' or 'Love is Not the Enemy'. For me those are really great live tracks and ought to be staples in my opinion. Also they don't seem to play older classics like 'Seven Doors Hotel' or 'Ready or Not' much anymore. Whilst not wanting this to sound like 'just another gripe about the set-list' - it is more an observation that while the set list is good, in my opinion it could be even better. Hope they play some of these in Birmingham tonight...

Yeah, I've noticed too. There are three Europe albums that get ignored in the setlists now: Europe, Start from the Dark and Secret Society. But Europe never change the setlist that much anyway. At the Padova gig Joey even admitted, "We kinda suck at changing our setlist." But it seems they've tried to do something about it on the recent gigs, playing songs like "Heart of Stone", "Ready or Not" and "Sign of the Times". I'm going to the Oslo gig and personally I'm hoping for "Stormwind" or "Wings of Tomorrow", but "Heart of Stone" would be great too.

"Ready or Not" might just be my favourite live Europe track ever

Well, seeing as the UK leg of the BoB tour has just ended and the Nordic leg will kick off in Aarhus on Tuesday, I thought I'd throw in my two cents.
I have to admit I'm getting fed up of the band playing it safe with the setlist. I know, it's nothing new, but I often think of a comment Joey has given in a couple of interviews, which went something like, "A good rock band should challenge itself and its fans." Clearly he wasn't talking about the setlist.
"We play what we want," Joey has said on various occasions when asked about the setlist. Good for them, but would it hurt to at least change one song for each gig? They've got nine studio albums to choose from, so it's really frustrating to see them playing the same exact 18, 19, 20 songs night after night after night. Like I said previously, I'm going to the Oslo gig next Sunday, and I won't be surprised at all if they play the exact same setlist there as they did in London. I keep on hoping for any change at all, but I'm afraid I'll be hoping in vain.
