The weirdest thing: TFC in Major scale....

I was 6 in 1986 and The Final Countdown is pretty much as far as my memory goes when it comes to music. I think that every second of that song (or the whole album for that matter), every detail, every little sound....is like stored in your memory somewhere, since you've heard it a gazillion times over the years. Right? I think you know what i mean 
So after all these years, this is just....the weirdest thing. It's the original song but then re-tuned to the Major scale. (Europe's original is written in Minor scale). And it's done quite well actually! But....it's sounds SO weird that i don't even know what to think about it. Or say at this moment. My mind is a bit confused here. It's interesting and weird at the same time
