Hugely respected, thanks to his fluid style, flair, and incredible technique, the Norwegian-born player is readying the release of a new solo album ‘Gone to Stay’. Recorded during the COVID pandemic, it’s his first solo release in over a decade. We caught up with John for a chat about the album, his guitar and vocal style, and what reunited him with Europe.
